To be fair if you were new to a site and the response you got was as above, would you continue to post on it?

Wow I have only just read this topic after arriving home late yesterday & surprised mods/admin have not intervened. I am no party pooper the lady had advertised 5 sunbeds with bleached/faded webbing on them due to the sun, maybe someone who maybe is short on cash would take them, after all they are around €60 each for new ones. I for one know the normal all plastic ones are €25/30 each and don't last anytime if you are renting to folks who don't care how they treat them. Sorry guys but this is not nice taking the p***. This especially goes to rightmind who thinks its a joke. Edit: ok the one with the broken arm maybe not advertise it. I also see rightmind has logged just off after my posting, wonder why.16 postings on this topic and a total of 24 postings as a member.

From a personal point of view (i can't speak for others) it was the mention of the damaged lounger that prompted my first & only comment on them.... i then went with the flow of banter!

I bought 2 beds and 4 toppers from the woman on here who had the holiday flats nr Vale Navio. Saved a few quid and fine for home use and as Pauline says, they dont last long in the sun so why spend a fortune. Can't remember when I last lay on one but thats another story.

I hope the sunbeds went to a good home. It is a recession after all and we could all do with adopting a make do/mend attitude. Whilst I see the funny side in the banter (it was amusing to read) it perhaps went too far when then individual concerned clearly didn't see the funny side.

LynnK, I don't think these comments were meant to be personal to you but it's the same when you're e-mailing. I beg to differ, people on here don't want adverts for crap, there are enough of them out there. Lynn should have looked at the site before jumping in with her tat for sale.

Deal done- I will pm you my details. For all of you bargain hunters I have a slightly, ok worn-out, used front door mat, embroidered picture of António de Eça de Queiroz in center, open to offers.... Could be of interest for a holiday let apartment.

Your father should have also told you to dip your toes in the water before jumping in, its even more relevant in these instant computer communication days . ( and just an edit- I dont vote because they all line there own troughs) Anyway, if anyone's interested I still have the portable black & white portable for sale, ideal for your holiday let apartment.
