Strange, we have beach cam fully functional on all views and live, but strip cam is frozen, so can't see Ali Baba!

I stayed in CPO in March and April .... and last year when the main reception was getting its upgrade. One bug is the Supermarket below the top block is also getting upgrade, so you could have a mile up nine floors (or try to find the lifts) to get stuff in ... or to get out !

I got a free move to opp the main road bust stop, which was nice. Noticed prices for the three hotels are pretty high for `advance` bookings late this year/next ... much higher than the adjacent 4* Q.Pedra dos Bicos, where I have also stayed a couple of times and well up with Luna Forte opposite. Business must still be reasonable (or expected), since the Ouratlantico/ Janelas/ Pateo owners have kept their prices quite high too.

I`ll check the S/M progress this weekend .. but maybe a new thread and let this one go back to webcam

As far as i'm aware the MGM group that took over from Petchey have spent a fortune on the CPO recently. When i questioned Petchey staff last April they denied any knowledge of a takeover, but it had apparently already gone through at that point.

That is a BIG investment. It might be worth knowing what the Indian intends to achieve in the medium to long term.

Has pyrman or anybody else heard what's to happen? Inatel, now this. Or did Petchey Leisure need to sell all it's assets?

nowt here for me Elaine, could be internet connection though, its been sh**e for last few weeks. Thinks BT are taking the pee as they have just put fibre optic in our area so maybe they are slowing connections down  on normal phone line users so we will change to Infinity at a increased cost.
