Sunshine, blue skies and just a slight breeze here this morning. Temperature at 0845 is 16.8C.  It is a little hazy out to sea.

Today it is expected to be 23C this afternoon, a but cloudy later perhaps but should be staying dry. There is a line of showers to the south but they appear to heading for Spain.

The air is a lot more humid than yesterday but it still feels a bit hayfevery to me this morning.

Tonight will be a fairly civilised 15C or so, tomorrow bright and sunny again and 23 or 24C.

A good day in prospect, it's blue sky, hardly any wind and not a cloud in the sky. But not good for hay fever sufferers like me, it's dry and dusty air and this morning so far has been one big sneeze.

Temperature at 103am is 20.2C, expecting to rise to 24C this afternoon. there's no rain anywhere around.

Clear sky means it won't be be all that warm tonight, down once again to 14C.

And it  looks like some sunny days to come, temperatures in the mid 20's which is average for the time of year, night-times 14 - 16C. The current forecast shows it being a little cooler from Sunday onwards but still dry and mainly sunny.

It looks like being a better day today, which shouldn't be difficult. Last night was really nippy for the time of year, my thermometer recorded a low of 11.5C.

Now, at 0845, it says 14C, it's  sunny with a bit of cloud. The wind is light and currently from the south. That does mean it should warm up nicely later and we are expecting a high of 23C which is much better than the last week or so.

It does look like staying dry but there are a few marks on the radar to the south and east which might be a slight issue to watch out for. The wind might pick up a little.

It stays cloudy during the day and into the night. Tonight won't be so cold as last night, 14 or 15 perhaps. Tomorrow will also be a bit cloudy, temperatures 23 or 24C then Thursday a little warmer still and with clear skies. The nights will still be a little cool, 14 or 15C. The wind might not be quite so strong as it has been lately.

It's been very cloudy and dull so far today, the sun is only just now breaking through. It was another fairly cool night, down to 13.5C.  Now, at 1020am, it is 15.2C. and for a change there is almost no wind.

Showers are expected later and the top temperature will be no higher than 18C, well below average for the time of year.

It will be another cold night, 11 or 12C perhaps. Tomorrow will be another cool cloudy and possibly showery day, but this weather system should pass by during Wednesday with much warmer and and sunny days expected afterwards. Temperatures will rise rapidly back to the seasonal average of 23 or 24C.

Update 1300hrs - we have had a couple of short, sharp, showers since I last wrote.

Last night the temperature dropped to 13C. A little cold for the time of year. Temperature today at 1030am was exactly 18C, there are some high clouds and it is windy.

Expecting a high today of 19C, about the same as yesterday.

The radar shows some scattered showers to the west and one fairly heavy looking one to the north of Lagos. The wind is coming from that way, so worth keeping an eye on the sky for any black clouds.

Tonight will be fairly cool again, tomorrow a bit warmer and less windy but still the chance of a shower, then Tuesday a bit warmer still and less cloudy.

Warmer weather is forecast from Wednesday onwards, more like late May should be at 24 or 25C.

It has been a little cooler than normal for May and it is not summer yet. This morning it's blue skies, just a few clouds, fairly windy and at 0950am temperature of 17.6C.

The radar shows a lot of showers to the west of her, eg around Lagos, one or two might just pass across this area later.

Today's high about 20C, which is a little below average still. Tonight temperatures will drop to about 14C. Sunday and in fact until probably Tuesday it will stay cloudy and a cool but only perhaps the odd shower or two.

Weather is predicted to return to seasonal norms around the middle of next week.

(Stop complaining. I was listening to the test Match from Lords yesterday and it was so cloudy and dark they had the floodlights on all afternoon!)

It was 14C again last night and this morning so far  it has been very windy and cloudy.

Temperature at 0945hrs is 16.1C and the sun is just beginning to break through.

We are expecting 20C this afternoon, it will stay cloudy and windy. There are a lot of showers out to the west, where the wind is coming from so it looks like being a bit wet later.

Tonight it will be cool again, and for the weekend it does seem that the cloudy and  showery weather with stay with us.

It was rather chilly last night (relatively speaking) with a low of 14.2C. Today it's bright and sunny but there is a strong wind from the west. Temperature at 1115am is 18.5C, dry air once again. It's quite cloudy overhead, brighter looking out to sea.

Today's high won't be more than about 20C, it will stay cloudy but should remain dry. It will be another cool night tonight then tomorrow is going to be similar to today.

The weekend could see some more showers around, with temperatures a little below the seasonal average at around 20 or 21C. Nights will be 12 - 13C with the wind making it feel colder.

It's been very murky so far and has just started raining hard. It's also very windy. A band of rain is crossing the region from west to east and will be gone this afternoon.

Temperature at 1035am is 16C, it won't get much warmer under the cloud and rain.

The rain will ease off later but it will stay windy and cloudy.

It will be rather cool tonight, only about 11 or 12C.

Tomorrow will be a bit warmer than today but still cloudy, Friday is expected to be another showery day.

This is bliss and joy for hayfever sufferers! Doctor said yesterday this had been the worst season he had know for people asking for treatment.

A fair start to the day, hazy out to sea and there is a line of cloud on the horizon.

Temperature at 0830 is 18.5C, there is a light but steady wind currently from the east.

This afternoon should see 25 or 26C, but it will become cloudy. Slightly cooler tonight than on recent nights, 13 - 15C, then tomorrow will be much cooler than the past fortnight at maybe only 19 or 20C and there will be rain. Better for Thursday, still not all that warm at 20C but mainly dry. Bring your woolies!

I am off in a while to get my hayfever injection. Those who suffer will need their pills and potions.

you should look on the  meteo pt website.  you can check the 10 days forecast but is does change on a daily basis.

you will need to change the district to faro and the city/town to albufeira.

weather is looking good at the moment - we fly out on Friday    Cool
