Farol do Cabo de Sao Vicente. During this summer we went as far west as possible just to see the sun set. It seemed a popular thing to do and there must have been several hundred people doing the same.

Just joined a facebook group called 'old algarve photos' Set up recently by someone from, i think, Burgau but some pics of Albu and Olhos. Hopefully more will get added.

We took that exact same pic at about 5pm. It was our first venture to the marina. And couldn't believe the amount of unfinished buildings etc down that area.

Same all over, they start building with no idea of cash flow, run out of money and walk away.

This picture will resonate with many. This area should have been the extension of the marina but is now returning to nature. Work was abandoned at a very early stage.

loved the old photos - brought back memories.  Loved it that way with the boats on the beach - now long gone.....
