Dalgleish is a bit like Gordon Strachan - they say what they think and don't treat fools gladly - some poncy interviewer comes on and asks some really stupid questions after a match and if they didn't get some snash or sarcy remark in return then they'd be gutted. Kenny is parodied up here for his 'mibbees aye and mibbees naw' slant on things - i.e. I don't know is basically what he is trying to say but not very well. If you really want something different listen to Roberto Mancini - he is totally lost in the English language! 

I suspect it may be part of our Caledonian outlook on life.  The Rev. I.M. Jolly said it all for me, his glass was perpetually half empty.  We had a good spell of weather two weeks ago and people ware saying "Aye, it's fine noo but we'll pay for it in the summer". 
Things are never so bad that they can't get worse.  Personally I'm suspicious of people who are always cheerful.  They must be on something.

I am relatively new to this forum and have found it to be absolutely brilliant for all kinds of information given by locals and visitors.
I have also found people like a bit of banter and craic nothing said with bad feeling. In fact personally I think it would be a bit boring if things did not wander about "off topic"People have expressed their opinions, like yourself, nothing taken as personal. Just makes a change from discussing weather beaches exchange rate etc.
Long may the topics be varied in my opinion.

Lighten up Simpson, without wanting to put you off or sound cliquey,maybe a little more contribution before criticism?
