Just a heads up in case anyone asks.

Sir Harry's has the builders in. Rock Café is closed now until 'early March'

Only places open this afternoon were Tic Tac Bar and Buddy's.

And because they are the only two open in the Square tonight, they are both quite busy.

Also, Vertigo was open yesterday afternoon and every seat was taken with punters enjoying the sunshine.

Yes it’s a shame Albufeira should be all year round destination
But everything shuts down and it’s like a ghost down shame for the visitors coming for Xmas / new year

Vertigo and Downtown close around 6pm. A couple of the places down on the Cais Herculano were open yesterday and fairly busy.

Il Brigante restaurant re-opens on Monday.

Up the hill in Rua 1º Dezembro, Eddy's Bar and diner is closed until 26th December. They are advertising a New Year's event, details when they are open again.

A bit late but last night I spotted that Sir Harry's has re-opened (it did so last week) and Vertigo next door was also open. Pampas steakhouse was open but with no customers and around the corner the Spice Lounge Indian is also back open for business. A couple of places along Avenida 25 de Abril towards the pier were also open.

The old town is gradually coming back to life.

Noticed last night that several more places are open in town, including Rock Café and Doce Jardim.
