Credit where credit is due. I had to buy a new fridge freezer, the old one having passed away after 10 years loyal service. Went to Worten on Tuesday morning, ordered the one I wanted with delivery planned the following afternoon / evening. Text message later that day confirmed arrangements. Received a text at 6pm Wednesday to say they would be round shortly, two blokes in a big van turned up at 645pm, hefted said item into apartment and took the old one away free of charge. ------------- Albufeira Resident www.algarvebus.info public transport information for the Algarve |

Took a tablet back to them under guarantee and despite the glum sales girl, it was ready with the 30 days that they promised. -------------

We took an iron back within the guarantee period, it wasn't ready within the 30 days and they gave us our money back, as luckily the old one - which we had kept in case of emergency - got a second wind. It's a pointless law though. If we had thrown the old iron away, what were we supposed to do to press our clothes for thirty days while they "repair" it? ------------- Go away Duchatalet |
