Yesterday morning, thanks to Perry (Algarve Addick) I went to the roof of Clube Monaco and later his own terrace and took far too many pictures of Albufeira from even higher up.
It will take me a while to whittle them down to a sensible offering, but here are a couple of samples. ![]() ![]() |

Cubsur, a quick question. On the pics of rua Alves Correia there is a sign behind Gold Spot which looks like it says "Utopia". Is this part of Gold Spot, a B&B or just someones house? A quick google search doesn't rveal anything. I am intrigued.

Utopia used to be the club the Gold Spot owner had in Amsterdam. Sold the business, but kept the sign, Les.

Of all the roofs, there is one in particular that is stands out as more attractive - the building that appears to be in front of the Central Station, (front and left in the photo). Totally different.
Some lovely views there Tom. Many of the less appealing photographs still pose a question on perspective. As ever, thanks for letting us view your handywork. |
