I was wondering what my options would be to have internet access for a month. I have two young girls who would be nice to connect to as well....maybe a hot spot or something?

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

I am in Portugal regularly and with Laptop, etc, I always used a dongle from Vodafone. Last couple of times, with tablet, I bought a `wifi` modem from them ... 39 euros, plus 12.50 for 1 Gigabyte (lasted three weeks) ... so anytime I go now, I only have the 12.50 to pay as and when. You can also buy more top up if you are to be a heavy user ... several devices can be covered.

This company www.wifiabroad.com/en/home#home    hires them at Faro airport, but that would be considerably more expensive than having your own.

Many hotels have free internet in foyer, bar or in room ... you can check my rough list
at  www.albufeiraguide.yolasite.com/indoor-pool-and-free-wifi.php

Most bars and restaurants have `free` internet for clients ... but then you are on `open` networks.

You may not wish them to know that there is free wifi for customers in McDonald's.

The big problem for me with that is that you have to go to McDonald's  !!!! Wink

Surely you can pick it up if you just loiter outside
I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.
