Dicey, new member?

A long story.
Haven't been able to login for 10 days.
Tried to change password but never received an activation email.
This went on for days so tried to set up as a new member - that didn't work either for the same reason.
Or at least it did work in as much that I regeistered but then never received an activation email so although I could log in I couldn't actually do anything.
Tried the "Resend Activation Email" option but just kept getting a message to contact the Forum Administrator.
Fine I thought but you can't do that because technically I wasn't a member until I had the activation email.
Sent 2 messages outlinning my problem via the contact facility on Albufeira.com but got nowt back.
So basically I've been going round in ever decreasing circles.
In desperation I contacted garvemedia who finally sorted it out this afternoon.
Apparently, and I quote "We’ve had some issues lately with the new mail server and had to change some settings on the forum".
So there you go.
