Note that central and West Albufeira are currently paralysed (Sat Mar 24, 1230) with the
Portugal Cup Womens and Girls cycling ... in particular the bus stop (Modelo Shopping side)
cannot be used until it finishes ... buses will pass along the parallel Rua Municipio .. by the taxi rank. There was a big queue when I passed a few minutes ago, blissfully unaware as the Green giro passed behind them ... no doubt some waiting for EVA buses too !

Yep, all cleared now but was pandemonium!
The GNR seemed to be having the most fun, boy do they blow those whistles loudly! LOL!

Heaven forbid they should ever give prior notice of road closures in the centre of a very busy tourist town...

or spend the money on proper tourism.......surely a hill climb from Oura beach up cardiac hill and all the way up to Erins Isle would benefit more people and be a right laugh.....

It was actually well publicised on the cm-albufeira website ...  womens race won by a Brit .. Emily Meakin. I would pay money to see Pete Knopp cycling up Cardiac hill ...
