Why don't you put in a cheeky offer? It would significantly reduce your walk to Algarve Shopping.

Tom, has this been reduced again, since Dicey's post on 25 April (topic 9368)???

Hopefully it'll continue to be reduced and we could all chip in and buy it Big smile

Might be the same information, I didn't check the date.

Never a great fan of Cliff but I regret the way he has been treated. Mud unfortunately sticks.

The vineyard being for sale has nothing to do with what Cliff went through. The vineyard co-owners are wanting to sell up that is the reason.

Any Cliff fans here this Thursday? If so you might want to pop across to his vineyard, 10.00am to 12.00 mid-day, he's doing a signing session.
Dunno if the above Facebook link will work (as I don't do facebook) but worth a try.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4869796/Cliff-Richard-opens-false-sex-abuse-claims.html

Article published today about him selling up.
A bit odd as this news is 6 months old.

"The property on sale is Sir Cliff's winery business, not his Portugal home which is nearby."

As was said when this news came up last time.

"6 months ago" was his winery for sale. This week he has decided to sell his house as well. 6.4 million if anyone is interested.

That's how I read it, his house is now for sale at 6.4m and the winery at 4.6m  -

"Sir Cliff has tried to sell his Portuguese estate more than once in recent years, with it last on the market in April for £4.6million. He originally sought £8million for his award-winning winery in Albufeira, but dropped the price to £5.5m earlier this year and has now lowered it again to just £4.6m"

The quote I've cut and pasted Dicey is from the linked article you posted.

Yes it does say that but the whole article is contradictory.

The 300-year-old Quinta do Moinho estate hit the market on Sunday for €6.95million (£6.4million) as Sir Cliff looks for a more manageable property.

Sir Cliff has tried to sell his Portuguese estate more than once in recent years, with it last on the market in April for £4.6million. He originally sought £8million for his award-winning winery in Albufeira, but dropped the price to £5.5m earlier this year and has now lowered it again to just £4.6m.

Either the price of one single property has gone from £8m to £5.5m, to £4.6m and then back up to £6.4m or there's 2 properties, one at £4.6m and the other at £6.4m.
