Fantastic heat wave we've been having, and no signs of it letting up. Cool

This is like the heat wave we had same time last year .. lets' hope these nice summers are back to stay.
We had a run of miserable summers for a few years, but last 2 years have been good. Thumbs Up
Just like our summers used to be. Smile

We've had a great run of scorching weather in the North East. Perhaps not as hot as the West coast but 26 degrees today & more forecast for the next few days. Certainly hot enough for me!

No thunder storms or rain of any kind so my sprinkler is working overtime keeping the garden half decent.

Yes we are in Scotland and August has been terrible and doesn't look like it's going to get much better think our "summer" has gone here .

It was raining hard in Burnley last night I noticed.

Scotland does seem to be getting it nasty and for several days to come.

Absolutely great weather up here on the Sunny Fylde Coast. It was a pleasure to be trawling the streets this lunchtime delivering political messages whilst wearing shorts and sunglasses (along with a Red Rosette of course)now at 5:20pm it is 24 centigrade and not a breath of wind.

Similar here at Loch Lomond.  The haar is burning off nicely and good weather is promised for today and tomorrow.  Good for pottering about in the boat.  Autumn is turning the trees nicely brown and the hills are looking bonny.  We watched a small group of Roe deer come down to eat the untouched grass beside the road last night.  They tend to linger on the road as the tarmac holds the heat of the day, which is a bit of a hazard. Maybe see a buzzard or two if we keep our eyes peeled.  On a day like this it's just grand to be alive.
It is no coincidence that in no known language does the phrase 'As pretty as an Airport' appear. Douglas Adams

It was a little cloudy yesterday but a nice one at 20C, spend the day out and about.

It's down to business at the cricket today and rain in NOT forecast! Early start, so up early. Currently 13C, just a few little clouds. Forecast is for 20C, some clouds but sun breaking through.

Dank and foggy this morning in Southampton. I hope it turns out like yesterday, which was a bit windy up at the cricket ground but mostly sunny and 22C out of the wind. That is today's forecast.
