Something wrong.
It's a Bank Holiday and the sun is shining! Dunno how this has happened!
A very nice day here, no wind, clear skies, sunshine, 26 degrees later, the BBQ is going to get its second run out this year!

It's been a good summer I think. We can't complain.

Well, Linda, looks like summer's over if this snapshot of the cricket scores at 12noon is anything to go by!

No doubt Essex are cheering the rain on. No Lancs win should ensure the Championship for Essex ( Unless they get docked points for having an unplayable wicket)

First damp day since arrival in Brighton. Been basking in the sunshine that has been brought to Town by Jeremy

Up here on the Fylde Coast (N West England) and although its dry its darker than twilight and has been all day. Everyone's house lights have been on all day as its that dark its impossible to even read without false light.

Still awaiting the tail end of Hurricane Ophelia to hit us. Looking at the Sol-E-Mar cam it looks like Albufeira is currently being bashed.

Stay safe folks

Not been that bad at all and we certainly haven't had a bashing by any stretch of the imagination. A bit breezy and cloudy this morning and very humid.
Now, mid afternoon, the breeze has died down, the cloud has thinned to a haze, the sun is breaking through and it's getting warmer.
I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

Gentle breeze that's all, seriously, but very misty and very humid.  At the moment there is nothing much in the way of rain within 100 miles. But tomorrow could be different...

My friends in Eastbourne said it is quite nice there this afternoon.

It’s blowing a gale up here on the edge of Saddleworth Moor in Oldham. Trees are bending and windows rattling. Strong winds are forecast into the night.

Eastbourne - windy (45mph gusts) with squally showers but they are moving fast. Temp currently 14ºC.

Off to the footer this afternoon, expecting a wet and windy afternoon on the terraces.

Eastbourne - a much brighter day than yesterday and it's not raining, but still rather windy. 10ºC at 0830am rising possibly to 13ºC.
