Almost €1.10 in Debenhams today, also they give you a £5 voucher to spend on the day on purchases over £20 if you exchange more than £50

I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

Looks like Stirling is still on a downward spiral despite the recent small UK interest rate increase. Just yesterday I purchased the first of our spends for 2018. 2160 euros cost £2004, we only got a rate of 1.077e per £1 Stirling  from Santander (who we always use, as they are pretty good usually)

Had to decide whether or not to wait until after next weeks UK Budget, but decided to go ahead and purchase them now due to the fact that the last three Tory Budgets have collapsed within days of the Chancellors presentation.

Yes its a new Chancellor, but i fear it will be   " Same old Story, You can never trust a Tory"  and after this budget is pulled to pieces by the press etc, Stirling may fall even further. Lets hope not !

It was 1.14 in January and is currently 1.12 having been 1.14 just a couple of weeks ago.
So hardly what you would call "still on a downward spiral" when it's only 1% less than it was 11 months ago.
But then Labour have never been very good at maths Wink

1.065 for cash in town today. Stop getting worked up about exchange rates! Go somewhere you can spend a £. Falkland Islands, Gibraltar, St Helena, Margate perhaps?

Fleetwood used to be quite nice and busy many moons ago when it was a working fishing port and tourist Town. Now its only good thing is the scenery over the Wyre estuary, Morcambe Bay and beyond to the hills of The Lake district. Still beats living in a Big City I suppose
