It’s nearer Gale end of the several mile stretch of golden sand that is Gale to Salgados to AdP.
Drive and park at Gale, walk the waters edge to the West and it’s only about four or five mins walk.
Try to be early, as loads of people, ignorant that everyone wants to photograph it, think it’s a good spot to pitch camp, and that somewhat makes it less attractive to photograph!
There are other great rock formations around there as well, particularly at low tide when there is a great ‘bowl’ to be seen, and photographed in.

No takers for the sun beds this morning but still plenty of people on the beach. Kids jumping in and out of the sea. Temperature around 20ºC.

NEW BUILDING ON PENECO BEACH

Finishing touches being made to roof. Didn't see any equipment inside, supposed to be officially opened this Friday. Nearby, other workmen were relaying the boardwalk.

The crawl space could be a new home for some of the Albufeira wildlife and perhaps some other dodgy goings on 😁

I also wonder if the structure will be targeted by the local grafitti artists?
