This year there is one of those inflatable bouncy castle waterpark things at both ends of the town beach. You go to a ticket office at the back of the beach nearby to get a ticket. I didn't look to find out how much. Then most people swim the 50 metres or so out to the thing, although I did see one person being taken in a boat. If you cannot swim I would have though that rather defeats the object of going there.

At the pinnacle / lift end

and at the other end

and here is something I have never seen before. Waterpowered hover boots!

I can do that without the flyboard, I use a mix of chicken piri-piri, beans and copious amounts of Sagres ! Wink

Falesia yesterday morning.

I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

This is a copy of a post I made earlier on Trip Advisor in answer to a question 'Is it busy?'

This afternoon I walked along the beach and cliffs from Albufeira to Praia da Oura and back. Perhaps not the best decision I have ever made, as it was 33C in the shade and the sand was too hot to walk on in bare feet!

Remember that most of the English schools are not on holiday yet. The beaches are busy without being overcrowded except on the main town beach, which is the locals favourite. The bars along the beaches were pretty busy also.

Here are three pictures I took earlier of the main beach in the old town.

There will be some more in the same place a bit later tonight.
