Aw that's a shame weather's not good- friends daughter arrived there on Wednesday for a week, her first time - she's not gonna see Albufeira at its best.
Hope she gets a few nicer days before she leaves.

Update 1225 - the sun is out and it a fairly nice at the moment and 15.1C. There are still one or two small showers heading our way though.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Not today I think! There's a pretty rainbow in the sky to the west, but a dirty great black cloud right behind it.

Temperature at 0750am is 12.0C. Wind is from the west and bringing rain with it. Actually, most this one is just going miss us here (although light rain is falling the blackness is mostly out to sea heading for Vilamoura) but there are more heavy showers out to the west heading our way for later. So it's going to be a showery day, temperature max 17C in gaps between showers.

Tonight will be around 10 or 11C, showers are likely to persist through the night and into tomorrow, which will be similar to today weather-wise.

Wednesday onwards is forecast to be a bit better, dull and cloudy but only a slim chance of rain with temperatures gradually creeping up towards 19 or 20C in the daytimes, still only 10 or 11 at night though.

Well most of yesterday's rain passed us by. A little showerette has just stopped, it looks like there is one more to come then there are clear skies.

Temperature at 0855am is 13.3C, there is a light wind from the south-west. The odd shower apart, it should be fairly decent day today with max temperature 18C. Tonight won't be too bad, temperature near the coast 13C, a bit cooler inland.

Wednesday and Thursday will be cloudy but dry days, daytimes around 18C, night-times 11 - 13C, same as today. The days to follow look fairly good also, just a slim chance of any rain, temperatures in the daytime up to 20C by the weekend.

It is a sunny morning, but fairly windy with some high cloud. Temperature at 0915am is 14.1C, so a bit warmer than yesterday. It will stay a bit cloudy, temperature could rise to 19C in the afternoon. It should stay dry today.

The wind is coming from the east so tonight will be between 11 in sheltered inland spots and 13C near the coast.

This weather looks set for the next few days, little change is expected but the days should become a little warmer, with 20C forecast for the coming weekend.

Cubsur is feeling a bit under the weather today. He even had to leave some ale in the drinking house last night so I will try and update........

It turned out a very nice afternoon with bright blue skies and chemist sign saying 19. This morning did start off quite cloudy with a strong breeze blowing the flags but it calmed down to be a very nice day.

Nighttime temperatures will still be cool. Probably as low as 8 or 9 degrees. Jumpers required if sitting outside.

Hopefully Cubsur will be fit again tomorrow.

Groan. Better today thank you. Temperature hit 20.9C yesterday afternoon in bright sunshine. Similar expected today. Temperature at 830am is 13C. Mostly blue skies, just a bit misty out to sea. Very light breeze. It will be a very nice day for mid February, sunny with max temperature 20 or 21. The mist might come in around tea-time.

Good to have you back and normal service resumed.

Thought it must have been serious when we were advised "He even had to leave some ale in the drinking house last night".

Looks like being another very nice day today with top temperature perhaps 21C, way above average for mid February. The early morning mist has almost cleared, it's sunny with some high cloud and a little bit of a breeze. Temperature at 0825am is 12.3C.

It will become more cloudy as the day goes on, but when the sun's out it will be very pleasant indeed. Tonight won't be very warm as the wind is coming from inland, expect 11C.

Tomorrow is going to be fairly cloudy all day and not quite so warm with the sun hidden, more a normal February day. Monday will be better, then it looks to be pretty settled for the rest of next week with daytimes 19 or 20C, night-times 9 or 10C, a bit of cloud but only a slim chance of any rain.

Very cloudy and feels cool this morning, a big contrast to the past week or so. The radar shows rain falling to the east of Faro, but it's not coming our way.

Temperature at 9am says it is 12.3C, it's lying I am sure. Grey clouds cover the sky. Slight wind from the north-east. it will stay cloudy today, max temperature not more than 17C, which is normal for the time of year. it won't be very warm tonight, could be as low as 8C in sheltered spots, 10 or 11 maybe near the coast.

The next couple of days will be less cloudy, so a bit warmer and perhaps 20C.  No significant change in the weather is expected for at least a week. Cloudy, dry and around 18 - 20C daytimes, 9 - 11 at night.

It's cloudy this morning, temperature at 1045am is 13.8C, there is hardly any wind. (Yesterday it was very windy later in the day and blew some of my washing off the line, grrr!)

If and when the sun comes through, we could have another very pleasant day and 20C later.  It will stay dry. It won't be too warm again tonight, down to 10 or 11C. Tomorrow looks like it's going to be pretty much the sme as today, Wednesday could be a very nice sunny day and 23C it says.

After that the days are going to be pretty cloudy for week or so, a slim chance of some rain maybe and temperatures in the 19 or 20C range daytime, 9 - 11 at night.

It is quite cloudy this morning but the sun is starting to break through. Temperature at 0825am is 13.9C, there is a light breeze from the east.

It should be a nice day today, a bit cloudy perhaps, but sunny spells and temperature up to 21C this afternoon. Tonight will be a little warmer than it has been, 12 or 13C.

Simialr tomorrow, perhaps a tad warmer, on Thursday the wind is shifting around to come more from the north so that will make it slightly cooler. The outlook is for a week at least of this pleasant and dry weather.

That little sprinke of rain yesterday evening wasn't on the agenda. How dare it!

This morning is quite misty out to sea, the sun is coming through though. Temperature at 0905am is 13.4C, so about the same as yesterday and there is the same light breeze. Today's weather will be more or less the same, a bit cloudy with top temperature 20 or 21C. There are a few showers dotted around Andalucia, they don't look like coming our way but who knows if one might sneak up on us later?

Tonight will again be around 11 or 12C. Not much change is expected for tomorrow(except a 22% chance of a shower they say) or Friday. The general weather situation won't change much over the next week or ten days. Light winds from the north, cloudy days but almost certainly dry, 19 or 20C daytimes, 10 - 12 at night.
