Very nice day yesterday - warm & sunny.
Not a lot of wind but it did pick up during the afternoon and at around 4.30pm it got quite strong & we had what can only be described pine tree pollen "storm".
The air was yellow, almost like a fog for a good 10 minutes.
Everything is now covered in yellow pollen & our pool has turned a rather nasty looking green colour.
Quite nice first thing this morning albeit a tad on the chilly side.

Huh! It rained hard in Galé yesterday afternoon when I was there but 3 miles away in Albufeira I am told it was hardly damp!

Anyway, it looks like a fairly bright start to the day but I can see clouds building up to the south. Temperature at 0900 was 15C/58F, there's just a light wind.

The radar shows heavy showers over Portimão at the moment with more out to the south and southwest. These are heading in our general direction for later.

Maximum temperature today no more than 17 or 18C, that's 62 - 64F. It won't be so cold tonight as last night then tomorrow we are forecast long spells of rain. Thursday should be brighter but with some showers.

Update 11am - nasty, horrible, rain, wind, yuk!

It's very wet and windy here this morning, dark clouds everywhere. There are some heavy showers around but with the wind they are blowing over quite quickly.

Temperature at 9am was 16C/60F, expecting no higher than 18C/65F today. There are a lot of showers still to come and the forecast is suggesting thunder and lightning this afternoon. In fact the whole country is being affected by similar weather with some quite fierce storms around the Lisbon area.

The wind's coming from the south so it won't be cold tonight, 14 or 15C. Tomorrow looks like being less horrible than today but still showery and perhaps a couple of degress warmer if the sun comes out.

At least the farmers and growers are happier now.

What a lousy day, chuva, chuva, chuva.
Been absolutely hissing down here since about 11 & no sign of it stopping anytime soon.

Meanwhile, back home in sunny Cromer [picture regularly & automatically updated from Cromer Pier webcam].

Ive been looking at the forecast constantly over the past few days and seems to be brightening up and getting warmer gradually from sunday on, hope it keeps up that trend and the rain stays away!

Certainly warmer this morning (17C/63F at 9am) but it's still a grey day with a lot of cloud and just the odd blue bit. There's a band of showers heading in our general direction from the south-west, let's hope they are not as heavy as those we had yesterday.

Today's maximum 19C/66F, showers likely, not so windy as recently. Not cold tonight at all, down to 14 or 15C. Tomorrow is likely to be showery once more as is Saturday.

Anyone flying today will be going through storms up in the centre and north of Portugal. There's a line of heavy squally showers just approaching Lisbon also.

Fantastic day today, not a cloud since 10am currently 21 on our patio at 5pm.
One of the few good days we've had out of the last 16.
Shame really as we're going home tomorrow.Cry
Probably the worst weather we've ever had in 10 years of coming here, at regular intervals & different times of the year.
Still, lesson learnt, shan't come in April again.

Yesterday afternoon did turn quite nice although a bit windy. Most of the showers passed us by.

It doesn't look too bad out there today although it could well be another showery one. Temperature at 0930 18C/65F, quite a lot of cloud overhead although not very heavy and a bit of a wind from the south-west. Down that way it does look quite grey and that's where the rain is.

Today's high 19 or 20C.  Tonight down to about 13C. The weekend does seem as if it will be mainly dry and bright but perhaps no so warm as today.

Can't believe the 10 day forecast has Loule, 21kms from Albufeira, at 29C this time next week and Albufeira 26C. That's better, altho having said that, today was lovely and sunny but windy.

A grey and damp morning here. It has been raining, but is dry at the moment. A light breeze from the west or south-west is set to bring more rain later and it might last longer than the recent showers.

It's quite warm, currently 18C/66F and it feels quite humid. If the sun comes out we could get 21 or even 22C later today. But always a threat of some rain. Tonight will stay fairly  warm, around 14C/57F. Sunday and Monday will be mainly bright, a bit of cloud and just a chance of a shower or two. Temperatures similar to today's.

We are certainly expecting warmer days from Tuesday onwards, up to around 25C which is a little more than the average for this time of year. It's always a bit hotter up in Loulé than down here on the coast, we get a bit of wind they often don't.

We have a nice, bright morning, some cloud but a lot of blue sky. Temperature at 9am is 17C/62F with a light wind from the west or north-west.

Today will stay cloudy but it does look like staying dry. Maximum temperature 19 or 20C.

Tomorrow and Tuesday are also forecast to be cloudy but warmer than today. No rain is expected!

It's very cloudy this morning, not a glimpse of sun or blue sky anywhere. Temperature at 9am was 18C/64F. There's a breeze from the east so it's basically warm but rather humid air. This afternoon we should see 20C/70F, maybe more if the sun comes out. There's a line of showers just off to the south-east so I wouldn't completely rule out the chance of a spot or two of rain later.

Tonight sees temperatures around 15C/60F then for tomorrow and Wednesday it is expected to suddenly get a lot warmer with that easterly wind, forecast for Wednesday is 27C/81F, rather hot for the time of year on average but about the same as this time last year.

It's rather misty and cloudy this morning but a bit warmer than yesterday. Temperature at 0845 was 19C/67F, which is expected to rise to 23C/73F this afternoon when the mist burns off.  It is very humid again and if it's going to be like yesterday it will feel as if it's trying to rain.

There's a light wind from the west.

Tonight will be a little humid and warm, tomorrow and Thursday we are expecting 27 or 28C, 80 - 82F and dry days.
