Looks like being another boring day of bright blues skies, sunshine and 17 or 18C this afternoon; that's 62 - 64F. It felt positively hot yesterday afternoon, sitting in the sun.

Current temperature is 15C/59F, light dry wind from the north. No rain around. Tonight it will feel a little cool, temperatures down to 8 or 9C, that's 46 - 48F.

Not much change expected for the next two or three days except perhaps a biut more cloud. Enjoy.

Started bright but clouding over now. Temperature 14C/58F, very light wind from the north/north-east.

Expected to reach 17C/62F this afternoon, not quite as warm as the past few days still a little above average for the time of year.

No rain anywhere near, so another dry day almost certainly.

The weather does look settled and the weekend is not going to be very different, fairly warm, a bit of cloud and dry. What a contrast to last January!

It did get very cloudy yesterday afternoon but the rain stayed away.

Today it's another bright, sunny morning. Currently 13C/56F after a not so bad night, down to 11C/52F.  Expecting 18C/65F this afternoon and although it might get cloudy once more, the rain should stay away.

Very light wind, variable in direction, but mainly from the north so that keeps everything calm and dry. Sunday and Monday should be very much the same. Spring is sprung?

Well, still looking good. 1045am and it is 15C/59F, very light wind from the east. Clear skies but slightly hazy looking out to sea. This afternoon we should see 17 or perhaps even 18C, that's as per the last few days 63 - 65F. No rain in the offing. Cool tonight, down to 8 or 9C that's 47 - 49F.

Monday and Tuesday not much change. Weather settled.

It's another nice day today, 16C/61F and mostly blue skies. Light wind coming at us from the east. A couple more degrees this afternoon and it will be very pleasant. Cool tonight, maybe 10 or 11C, that's 49 - 51F.

Tuesday much the same but on Wednesday it is expected to be a bit cloudier and the chance of a shower or two. And not as warm either with the sun behind cloud.

Arrived back in Portugal after six weeks in the UK. First thing I noticed was that the temperature gauge outside of the Pharmacy was faulty, it insisted that the temperature was +18 C, I thought there were only single digit temperatures and they must be prefixed with a - sign.

I was actually asked by Miguel in Coconut's Bar, if I had been ill, but I explained if you keep somebody in almost constant darkness, with no access to any solar activity, then ensure that the temperature just varies around 0 C, you will end up with someone the colour of death and eyes the size of a small furry nocturnal animal.

Currently sitting in the park, large beer, cheese and ham toasty, big hot roasty thing beaming down from the sky.

Bliss.   Cool

Edit: Damn, forgot to bring the factor 15 sun cream.

The sun is the same in a relative way...........but you're older.

It did feel a bit nippy yesterday later in the day as the clouds came in. This morning it has been cloudy again but is just beginning to brighten up. Current temperature 15C/59F, which will rise to 17 or 18C (62 - 64F) this afternoon if the clouds stay away. There's a very light wind from the north-east, so the air is dry and no rain expected today.

The weather does look firmly settled now. Not much change is expected for several days, other than it will get rather cooler (especially at night) as befits the middle of winter and the airflow from the north in general, bringing cold air down this way.

My internet crashed again!

Anyway it is a bit misty and hazy out there but the sun is trying to break through. Current temperature 15C/60F and it will be a bit warmer later if the mist goes. The wind is from the east and is picking up a bit, so perhaps that will blow the mist away. No rain around and it must be a record for so many days in January with no rain.

Not much change expected over the next 2 or 3 days other than it will be a bit cooler. The 10 day forecast suggests not much change for the near future.

A bit of cloud this morning but fairly bright and warm . Currently 15.5C/60F with a slight breeze from the east. This afternoon should get to 18C/65F. There's no rain on the horizon or anywhere else in fact.

Tonight it will be 10 or 11C/ 49/51F and the same settled weather pattern will see us through Friday and Saturday, although it looks like being a bit cloudier on Saturday and perhaps less warm.

It's quite a bit windier this morning than of late and not as warm as expected. Currently 12C/54F which will rise to 15 or 16C (58 - 60F) this afternoon. The wind is still from the east, so it stays dry. It's a little hazy out to sea just yet, but clear blue skies above.

The weekend will see not much change except a being little cooler especially at night.

It became very windy last night around midnight and it still is this morning. It's also rather grey and cloudy with it. Not quite so warm, as predicted, 10.5C/51F at 0930 which will rise to perhaps 13 or 14 this afternoon, 56 - 58F. The wind is still from the east and will stay fairly breezy all day but it should stay dry. One forecast does though suggest a chance of showers this afternoon and evening.

We are fairly lucky down here. It is much colder inland, especially at nights where it is barely above freezing in the lowlands and -5C up in the mountains.

Outlook for the next few days is much the same.
