It's a chilly 9C/48F this morning after an overnight low of 6/43. Grey cloud but the sun is up there, trying to break through. There's a very light wind from the NE. If the sun comes out we might get 13C/54F today. No rain anywhere around at the moment but the forecast suggests rain later..

The weekend will be a bit warmer and probably dry.

Horrible! Pouring down with rain, well over an inch so far today. Cold as well, 10C/50F. Low, grey cloud, wind from the East/South East.

A large band of rain is crossing the region so it will stay wet for a good few hours I think.  We might see 13C/56F later. It is supposed to be better tomorrow and Monday a bit warmer too.

Splendid few hours earlier watching the Test Match, on a cold night down to 8C/46F now it's a bright sunny day, just a little cloud. Current temperature 13C/57F which will rise a little this afternoon.  Almost no wind and no rain in sight. Warmer tomorrow and Tuesday but probability of light showers both days.

Update 1245 - clouded over and temperature dropped!

A grey morning, overcast sky and not particularly warm.  Currently 11C/53F, almost no wind. There's no rain around for today.

We might see 15C/58F, about average for the time of year, if the sun breaks through the cloud later.

Tomorrow looks like being a rainy day, perhaps rain on and off all through to  the weekend according to some forecasts.

Warmer than yesterday, very misty and grey looking out to sea but bright overhead. Temperature 14C/57F, fairly breezy mainly from the south-east. There are a lot of showers around so expect some later. We should see about  17C/62F this afternoon. Heavier showers are now being forecast for tomorrow and possibly thunderstorms for Thursday but staying fairly warm.

Damp and grey, sky completely obscured by cloud. Not cold, currently 15.5C/60F. Light wind from the SE where there is a whole mass of rain waiting to come this way to add to the rain and thunder we had in the early hours.

Heavy rain forecast for tomorrow, showers with some sunny periods for Friday.

Fingers crossed Avril but they are still forecasting heavy, thundery, showers for tomorrow afternoon and evening. Warm though, 17C/62F expected.

Today has been grey, dull and damp but without much rain, hereabouts anyway. There is a band of very nasty looking weather off the western end of the region. Probably raining now in Lagos and Sagres. It is this that is heading our way for tomorrow.
