Today has started just like yesterday. Clear skies and 20 degrees at 7.45am.
The sun came up about an hour ago.
Relative humidity is currently 49%, well down on yesterday & the grass outside is dry this morning.
Should stay clear until lunchtime and then we might see the odd bit of cloud during the afternoon but it won't be anything significant.
There was quite a stiff easterly breeze for most of yesterday so the old wind break came in very handy.
However there's absolutely no wind at all this morning although it might pick up a little bit later on, probably when the tide changes at 14.10.
Max temperature will be 24.
All in all pretty good for October 31st so it looks like another day on the beach.

The sea temperature is holding up well at 22 thanks to the east wind dragging in warmer waters from the direction of the Med.
By comparison I would estimate that our pool is a few degrees cooler than the sea but it's still usable.
The sea has been a bit choppy for the last couple of days with lots of "white horses" and a strong under current.
Hopefully with less wind today it might be a bit calmer & more conducive for swimming.
I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

Forecast for today is 24C and a bit cloudy. Over the weekend the wind will shift around come from the north bringing more cloud then on Sunday some showers following me down from Coimbra.  Sunday looks like being still fairly warm in the daytime, but down to 17C at night.

All those numbers are above average for the time of year.

It looks like the clouds and showers could be with us until Tuesday. Later in the week there will clearer skies but cooler temperatures of 17 - 19C, more or less normal for early November.

Coimbra is cool and cloudy this morning, there is rain on the way and the buses are on strike!

I am returned, to a morning of scattered high clouds, a bit of an easterly breeze and temperature of 19.8C at 0845am.

It will stay cloudy and fairly breezy all day, there is no immediate threat of rain but there might a light shower or two tonight. Maximum temperature later of 24 or perhaps even 25C, still way above average. Tonight will be a comfortable 17 or 18C.

The wind will shift around to come from the north tomorrow, bringing clear skies and another day of 25C, but from Monday the weather becomes more like November should be with much cooler temperatures (18 to 20C in the daytime, 13 or 14 at night) and a lot of showers for Monday and Tuesday especially.

It's a little cloudy this morning and there is  slight breeze. Temperature at 1005am is 20.7C, it feels slightly damp.

The wind is from the north-west, the radar shows a lot of showers in that direction heading our  way for later. Maximum temperature this afternoon 24C.

The wind will bring fresher and much cooler weather, tonight will see only about 16C then tomorrow will be a rainy day and only about 21C. Tuesday and Wednesday will be fairly nice days but after than showers and rain are expected for the rest of the week, with temperatures in the November averages of between 17 and 20C.

Fresher weather indeed. Temperature last night fell to 16.5C.

Today it's a bit cloudy, there's not much wind and the sun is up there, so not too bad overall just now.

Temperature are 1045am is 20.3C, rising later to perhaps 23.

But there is rain on the way. The radar shows a fairly large rainy bit just off the coast at Sagres and heading this way for this afternoon and early evening I think. That will be followed by heavier rain and gusty winds during the night. Temperatures will fall to 14 or 15C. Tomorrow will be another showery day, temperature around 18C at best, Wednesday is expected to be better, a clear day and 19 or 20C.

It was very windy and a bit wet last night around midnight as a band of weather swept past.

It's calmed down now but is still quite windy and cloudy. Temperature at 1050am is 19.1C.

There are two more bands of heavy showers coming our way from the north-west. One is just near Portimão (out of my window I can see skies darkening over there) and the other lot is crossing the west coast, so it's going to be a rainy day. It won't get any warmer than it is now.

Once that all passes by, later tonight it should be rather more civilised. Tomorrow and Thursday look like being fairly nice days, dry, cloudy and with temperatures around 20C.

It seems to have rained yesterday everywhere but here. Certainly a couple of large rainclouds passed by out to sea and it was raining in Paderne.

This morning looks much better, mostly blue sky with some high cloud overhead and little wind.

Temperature at 0935 is 16.2C, which will rise to 19 or 20 later. I should stay dry.

It could be pretty cold tonight. The north-westerly wind is bringing cold air and it might be as low as 10C tonight.  Tomorrow will be mainly bright and sunny with 20C again, but cold again night then on Friday another load of showers are expected in a south-westerly wind. It will be a bit warmer but wet.

Temperature last night fell to 12C, this morning aty 0830 it was 15.4C. After a nice morning it is 17.3C at 11am.

There is blue sky overhead but a lot of cloud out to sea. No threat of any rain though.

This afternoon we should see 19 or perhaps 20C if the sun stays out. It will cool down quickly when it gets dark and tonight will again be between 1o and 12C.

The forecasters are saying it will be a rainy day tomorrow, clearing up in the afternoon and early evening but still with some showers. Those showers will stay on until Saturday. Temperatures will be similar to today's.

For next week it will be a mixture of sunshine and showers with slightly cooler temperatures towards the latter part of the week.

It's a cloudy and showery morning, one has has just passed over and it is quite wet outside. Temperature at 1030am is 19C and there is a light wind from the north-west, bringing the rain with it.

There will be more showers, one or two perhaps quite heavy, before the band of rain passes by later in the afternoon. Temperatures might creep up to 20 or 21 after the rain and clouds.

There might be the odd drop of rain during the night, with temperatures around 12 or 13C. Tomorrow looks like being another showery day, then it clears up. Sunday should be bright and dry but cooler than today at only around 18C.

It's been a very grey morning with a few spots of rain. It's looking brighter now but I don't think my washing is going to get dry very much soon.

Temperature at 1015am is 18.1C, there is just a very light wind. No sun to be seen at the moment, just lots of cloud some dark.

The forecast is for a rainy day with maximum temperature around 20C. There is a band of rain crossing the coast to the west which will be here soon. Some bits do look fairly heavy but all being well they will rain on Lagos or Portimão.

The rain will pass during the evening and it will be fairly cool again, around 13 or 14C tonight.

Tomorrow looks like being fairly bright and sunny but not so warm in the westerly wind, maximum 18C.  The outlook for next week is a mix of sunshine and showers with temperatures a little higher than the seasonal average at 18 - 21C.

The sun is out brightly this morning. There is just a little cloud and hardly any wind. Temperature at 0915am is 16.6C.

There are a few showers around and one or two might come our way before lunchtime. If it's  like yesterday, we could be sitting watching the clouds go by out to sea and staying dry here.

Later it will be brighter again with temperatures up to 18C. It won't be very warm again tonight . 12 - 14C, but that is about average for the time of year.

There is a frontal system coming our way for Monday and Tuesday so it looks like being warm but rather wet on Monday then it passes by  during Tuesday. However the whole week will be a mixtures of sunshine and showers.

It's a grey morning, cloudy and there is rain in the air. There is certainly some rain heading our way but probably won't get here until late afternoon.

Temperature at 1055am is 16.3C, there's a light wind from the north-west.  A big rain cloud is visible out to sea.

It might get a little warmer later on if the sun breaks through, but it will quite likely stay cloudy all day. If the rain stays on course, it will be here late afternoon or early evening.

The next couple of days are going to be similar, sunshine and showers and around 18 - 20C.

We are in a sunny interval at the moment but it has been wet and windy for most of the night and early morning. Temperature at 0910am is a respectable 18C.  More clouds are moving in pretty swiftly from the west and there will  be more showers before the day is out.
Temperature could rise to 20C later.

Tonight will be nicer than last night and warmer, perhaps 15 - 17C.

Tomorrow looks like being a cloudy but dry day with 19 or 20C, perhaps just the odd shower or two, but Wednesday sees heavy showers perhaps with thunder.

A really heavy shower woke me up a couple of hours ago, so I am out of bed early today!
It has been very wet overnight by the look of it and it is still pretty grey outside.

There are still a few more showers to come before afternoon and the last of them passes by.

Temperature at 0740am is 17.3C, the sky is grey and it feels damp. This afternoon we might get 20C if the sun manages to break through for any length of time.

Tonight will be fairly calm and around 15C, make the most of it as Thursday and Friday are going to be very rainy days, especially tomorrow Thursday. The weekend will be a a mixture of sunshine and clouds with the odd shower likely, then into next week the weather takes a turn for the drier and better all round. Temperatures will be slightly above average at 18 - 20C most days.
