Bright and sunny this morning, just a little cloud high in the sky. Temperature at 0810amn is 14.2ºC, rising to perhaps 20º later. There is a little bit of a wind again.

It will stay dry. It won't be cold tonight, no lower than 14 or 15 with warmer but wet weather coming for tomorrow.  Rain is expected during the morning of Wednesday but during the afternoon it will clear up and be around 22º. Thursday could also see some showers around. Friday and Saturday should be dry and fairly warm, wet weather is due again on Sunday.

Very grey day, light drizzle falling from low cloud. Temperature at 0815am is 16.2ºC.  There's more to come for the next two or three hours after which things should clear up a bit.

If and when the sun does come though the murk, temperature could rise to as high as 23º.

It won't be too cold tonight but much colder weather is on the way for the days following. The daytime temperature may not  be much more than 16 or 17º, at night down to between 8 and 10. It should be dry though until Sunday when more rain is forecast.

It's just stopped raining but there is more to come. A brief period of sunshine has broken through what until a few minutes ago was a very grey day.

Temperature at 1025am is 16.2º. It will be a little warmer once the showers have passed but not more than perhaps 18º.

Tonight will be fairly cold, down to 10º inland, 12 along the coast. Friday and Saturday will also be cold, 15 or 16º only, but should be dry. Sunday is going to be both cold and wet, especially in the morning.

It's quite cloudy this morning and not very warm. Temperature at 0840am is 13.1º, there is a slight breeze and thee is a lot of fairly dark cloud. I don't think it will rain here, but there are some showers clipping the western end of the region around Lagos and Sagres.

It will stay fairly cloudy and the temperature won't be much above 16 or 17º today. It could be quite windy later and there is an orange warning posted for rough seas.

The wind will make it feel cold tonight, could fall below 10º and feeling colder.

Tomorrow should be a sunny day and a bit warmer, rainy day though on Sunday. Rain is also now forecast for most of next week.

Winter draws on. Colder than yesterday, at 0800 it was 10.1º, sun is up now so it's getting warmer but at 0855 still only 11.3º. Bright sunshine, not a cloud in the sky, but a cold northerly wind. High today no more than maybe 17º, it may be cloudy later but no rain is expected.

It will be cold again tonight, down to 9 or 10º again.

Rain is on the way for tomorrow, expected from before dawn right through until lunchtime maybe later. it will be a bit warmer though, maybe 20º if the sun breaks through the cloud. More rain is expected on Sunday night, Monday should be dry but then the rest of the week is starting to look as if it is going to be decidedly wet. A cold front is going to pass from north to south.

Update 1400hrs - one of those showers is now overhead and it is raining quite hard

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's been raining here but has stopped now. There is a patch of wet weather to the north, over Ferreiras and once that has passed by there should be mostly sunny weather although there are one or two small showers moving our way for later perhaps. Temperature at 1040am is 15.4º. We could have around 19 later today.

It won't be very warm tonight once again, down to somewhere between 9 and 11º in the small hours of the morning. There will probably be more rain tonight.

Monday should be mainly dry, temperature around 17º but feeling colder in a fairly stiff breeze.  Tuesday will start fine but more rain is coming from Tuesday lunchtime right through until Wednesday morning. Temperatures will be similar, 17 - 19º.

Bright and sunny but fairly cold at the moment. Temperature at 0915am is 14.1ºC.  There is a light breeze.  it will stay dry today, a little bit cloudy and a bit windier later and a maximum temperature of 18º.

It won't feel too warm tonight, down to 10 or 11 along the coast, 8 or 9 inland.

Tomorrow will be a bit colder with rain coming along from early evening and probably lasting through the night and into Wednesday morning as a frontal system passes over. Rain and showers are also expected on Thursday and Friday. The weekend should be better but not much warmer, 19 at the most in the daytime, 12 or 13 at night though as it will be warmer but wetter air coming off the sea.

update 0920 - it looks like the first bunch of showers will just miss us. Fingers crossed.
It might not be very nice in a while!  Sky is darkening over to the west, showers will be arriving later this morning and could be followed by longer spells of rain.

Temperature at 0745am, is 11.1º, wind is light and from the north-west. It's going to stay grey and fairly cold, maximum no more than 16 or 17º.

A change in the wind direction will bring slightly warmer weather up from the south - west but with that comes moist air. On Wednesday and for next two or three days after it's going to be rather wet it seems. Temperature in the 18 or 19 range in the daytime, 12 - 13 at night. There won't be much sun to be seen amid the rain clouds.

Lots of wind and rain during the night, woke me up around 3.30am. Gone now and fairly sunny outside, just a few high clouds. Temperature at 0945am is 15.5º. Expecting a dry day and a high of around 18º.   It won't be too cold tonight, down to 12 or 13.

More rain is coming in the early hours of the morning and for tomorrow and it could last pretty well all day.   It will be a bit colder, no more than 16 or 17. Friday is not looking too good either but we should have a mainly dry weekend with some bits of sun.

Grey and rainy day, it was raining hard an hour or so ago, stopped for the moment but there is more to come. Temperature at 0915am is 15.7º, wind is from the west bringing the rain with it.  Sometimes the rain may be rather heavy for a short period. And it's going to last more or less all day.

Maximum temperature no more than 17º. It won't be too cold tonight, but more rain is due to sweep across the region during the night and well into Friday.

The weekend should be mainly dry and a little warmer, then from Monday it will be back to rainy days again.

8am - pretty nasty at the moment, raining hard and it has been since before dawn. But it looks like that it might be the same for most of the day with even a chance of some heavier thundery showers and some pretty strong winds around lunchtime.

Temperature at 08.00 is 16.1º, grey sky and raining. Maximum today 19º.

Once the rain has gone, which might not be until dusk, some better weather follows. Saturday and Sunday should be dry, a bit cloudy and around 17º. More rain is highly likely for Monday and most of next week but it won't be too cold, no lower than 12 or 13 at night, 17 or 18 in the day, in very light south or south westerly winds.

Typical sky recently - this yesterday afternoon.

It's a bit cloudy this morning but the sun is up there. Temperature at 0830am is 14,9º, there is a very slight wind.  It should be dry day, maximum temperature 18 or 19º but it will feel colder this afternoon as the wind increases.

Tonight could be a bit colder than it has been, down as low as 9 or 10 in the pre dawn hours.

Tomorrow should be a dry day and similar to today. Then a change in wind direction to come from the south-west will bring showers and longer spells of rain for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Cloudy morning and not as warm as yesterday. Temperature at 0955am is 14.7º, slight wind. There's no rain around but it will be cloudy for much of the day as it was yesterday. As and when the sun comes out we can expect 17 or 18º.

Warm but wet weather is approaching from the south west. Tonight it won't be colder than 14 or 15º, rain is scheduled for tomorrow, perhaps in the morning but more likely through the middle of the day until mid afternoon. Daytime temperature could be as high as 20º.

Likewise Tuesday is going to be a warm but rainy day and that could last well into the evening and night. After that there will still be a chance of some showers but it should be mainly dry. Daytime temperatures will return to the seasonal average of around 17º.

Update 1100am - heavy drizzle coming from very low grey clouds, Fairly yukky out there

Grey and damp feeling morning, not cold though. Looks like some light rain showers are heading our way. Temperature at 0835am is 17º, there is a very light wind so any showers may be slow to pass. Maximum today 20ºC. Any wet weather should pass by lunchtime or not long after but clouds will remain. Tonight won't be cold, no lower than about 16.

Tomorrow some more rain is coming, possibly from mid morning but more likely from afternoon into evening. Temperatures will be similar to today.

Wednesday should be a dry day, so also for the rest of the week. Temperatures will fall a little to 17 or 18.

There is a very thick mist this morning, everything feels damp and clammy. Not cold though, temperature at 0755am is 16.7º.  Rain is almost certain later, possibly from mid afternoon and well into the evening. Top temperature 20º.

It will be colder tonight, down to 11 or 12, then Wednesday to Saturday will be cloudy but dry, some sunny intervals with daytime around 17 or 18º, night-time 10 - 12º.

I am off to sunny Spain until Friday, meanwhile you can check current weather and the forecast at http://www.ipma.pt/pt/otempo/prev.localidade.hora/index.jsp#Faro&Albufeira
