It was a really nice day yesterday and another one coming today. Bright sky, not a cloud to be seen, temperature at 1045am is 15.4ºC. There is very little wind. it might not be quite so warm as yesterday, up to 18ºC maybe. Tonight won'0t be too bad either, down to 11 or 12 along the coast, 10ºC inland.

There won't be any big difference tomorrow and Friday, maybe a bit colder at night under the clear sky. Saturday won't be too bad either but from Sunday rain is forecast, and for the whole of the coming week. The cause is a wicked looking area of low pressure moving south top north in the Atlantic, that will draw warm most air up from the tropics forming a slow moving band of rain that will cover the whole country.

Bright and sunny once again but rather windy at the moment. Temperature at 1010am is 13.6ºC. The wind is from the north-east so it won't get very warm today, maximum 17ºC  but will feel colder in open spaces.

It will be pretty cold (for here) tonight, down to 7 or 8ºC.

Same for tomorrow, perhaps even colder at night. Then on Saturday the wind direction changes. There will be a lot of cloud building up with a chance of some showers, temperatures around the same. Sunday could be a little better, probably dry  but from Monday we are almost certainly going to be getting very wet for a few days.

Bright and sunny yet again but cold today. Temperature at 0740am is 9.6ºC. Very little wind today though.  Set fair to be a nice day, maximum temperature 17ºC which is about average for the time of year. It will be a cold night, down to around 8 along the coast, 6 inland.

Tomorrow will be similar to today in terms of temperatures but clouds will be building up and there is a small chance of showers. More cloud and perhaps more showers are on the way for Sunday. Then Monday onwards is going to be rainy, temperatures in the 16 to 18 range daytimes, 7 to 10ºC at night.

This morning it is fairly bright overhead but quite cloudy out to sea, where the weather is coming from for the next few days, Temperature at 0820am is 11.4ºC, this will rise to 16 or 17 later. There is just a very gentle breeze. It will stay dry today.

Tonight will be pretty cold for these parts, down to perhaps 6 or 7 inland, 8 or 9 along the coast.

Tomorrow will be similar to today, Monday cloudy with some showers. Then a south-westerly air flow will make the rest of the week somewhat rainy and the lack of sun will mean temperatures of not more than 15 or 16 in daytimes, 8 - 11 at night. The cause is a very deep depression in mid- Atlantic, the same one that is dragging icy winds from Scandinavia across eastern England and Scotland over the next couple of days.

It's been rather cloudy and grey, but is brightening up a little.  Temperature at 0930am is 14-1ºC, there is a bit of wind. It will probably be a bit cloudy all day, but staying dry. Maximum temperature 18ºC. Tonight down to 8 or 9.

Tomorrow is going to be very windy and raining. Colder during the day too, no more than 16ºC. Tuesday will be less unpleasant but still with some showers.

Then rain is back on Wednesday and the wet weather is set to be with us for several days. Daytime temperature will be around 18ºC, night-time 10ºC.

Couldn't log in this morning but you wouldn't have liked the weather report anyway. Grey, dismal, windy and raining on and off. Just for the record at 1630hrs it is 14.5ºC, light rain is falling from low grey clouds.

Tonight it will be damp and around 10 or 11ºC. The rest of the week is basically going to be the same.

Re the forecast above (for Sunday. It turned out a very strange day, weather wise.
All the cloud was as forecast, out east over Vilamoura way, out North over the hills and out South over the sea. And yet we were on Falesia near Golfinhos from 10 until 3, the clouds barely moved from those positions all day, despite a bit of a breeze, leaving us with a clear sky and sunshine all the time we were down there.
As for today, managed to play 9 holes this morning without getting wet before it rained.

This morning is not so bad, but there are amber warnings (2nd highest level) for wind, rain and rough seas.

It is fairly bright overhead but there is a big bank of cloud out to sea. Temperature at 0800 is 13.9ºC with a slight breeze. The official forecast is for a showery day, top temperature around 18ºC. There are only a few showers on the radar at the moment but more may come along this afternoon. It won't be too cold tonight, 10 or 11.

Tomorrow will have similar temperatures but more prolonged periods of rain, Thursday is expected to be a mix of sun and showers. This wet weather is going to be with us for another week at least.

Never understood the need for amber warnings (or any other colour for that matter) I mean, what are you supposed to do.
Just had an email from home saying it's cold but there's virtually no snow. And yet there are no trains running in North Norfolk and several schools are closed. LOL

Different picture this morning in UK, temperatures down to -10 in Kent. Everything frozen solid. All for insurance purposes, if you go out when there is severe weather warning, skid on ice and crash, no pay-out.

Anyway, here it is blowing a gale but not actually raining at the moment. It has been raining a lot through the night and there is more to come.  Some more is just arriving as I type, visibility is very poor. Temperature though 14.3ºC at 0755am.

Maximum temperature 18ºC today if we see any sun, which at the moment seems unlikely. The wind direction means it won't be cold tonight, 12 or 13 but it will be be feeling very damp.

Little change for tomorrow and Friday. Visitors especially may not wish to look at the ten day forecast at http://www.ipma.pt/pt/otempo/prev.localidade.hora/index.jsp#Faro&Albufeira

Sorry but that is absolutely 100% not true. If it was true there would not be one single vehicle on the roads in the UK when there was a weather warning and even today there will be millions of them out there.

Well, my opinion! But people ignore risks as they are safe in their cars, aren't they?

Anyway, weather update here at 13.15hrs Torrential rain, I can barely see out of the window.

Check your car insurance policy.
You will not find any restrictions on claims if you have an accident during a weather warning and given that there are weather warnings for something or other more often than not in some part of the UK then the whole idea would be completely unworkable.
You would hardly dare to go out.
Anyway, let's hope the Camara have taken heed of this weather warning and made sure the the drains have been cleaned out.
