-4 up here in the North East this morning with the temperature set to rise to zero later. However no snow where I live and non forecast in the next few days as the main belt of snow seems to be across the Midlands and Wales.

Still coming here, now 8”, it’s been many a year since we’ve had anything like this. Think it’s time to pop down The Vine to see if they’re all okay, sort of a community duty! 😉

Oi, stuff about British weather on British weather page please!
Anyway, just in case you think it is all lovely here, we had a very wild and windy night. It's calmer now, but around 2am the wind was howling and the rain lashing down as a squall line passed from north-west to south-east. That lasted a couple of hours. It's now approaching Morocco.
Now at 1000am it is 14.2ºc, fairly bright but with a lot of cloud around and a little windy. The radar shows a few showers to come, but they are small and scattered. Top temperature today maybe 19ºC.
Tonight will see temperature fall to around 8 or 9ºC ahead of a dry, sunny but cold couple of days, daytime no more than 15 or 16 (about average for the time of year), night-time down to 5ºC in some places.
Looks like Friday is going to be another rainy day, then once more a few sunny, dry but cold days to follow.

It did get better in the afternoon yesterday apart from one short but heavy shower.
Today it is bright and sunny but not particularly warm. Temperature at 1030am is 11.9ºC and it is fairly breezy. We might have 14 or 15 later, it will stay sunny but the north wind will make it colder tonight. Could be down to 6ºC away from the coast, maybe 8 or 9 here.
Tomorrow will be a bit cloudy, temperature similar to today, Thursday cloudier still but a touch warmer perhaps. There's a chance of some rain on Friday as a small weather system passes over, then there will be a few more days of cold, dry and sunny weather in a north wind.

It is very cloudy this morning, a real contrast to yesterday which was bright and sunny all day. In fact, the clouds are positively dark looking to the west. The radar shows a few showers out that way, heading slowly towards us.
Temperature at 0940am is 13.5ºC, the air is damp There is a light wind. Staying cloudy then, chance of a shower, top temperature 19ºC if the sun comes out.
Tonight and tomorrow morning will be OK, temperature around 9 or 10 but rain is coming for tomorrow afternoon, temperature similar to today. Then on Saturday we will again be in a north wind, so sunny but cold at around 17ºC daytime, 7 or 8 at night. Those are about the averages for this time of year.
Next week looks like being the same, dry and sunny but cold in the wind.

Up early to watch the cricket. Mistake? Anyway it's very cloudy, a big black cloud is passing by out to sea and there are showers around. Temperature at 0740am is 14.3ºC, there is hardly any wind.
So a showery day in prospect, top temperature 18 or 19C. Tonight, a bit warmer perhaps than it has been in a westerly wind, 10 or 11ºC.
The weekend should be fine and dry once this rain has gone but colder, daytime 16ºC, night-times 6 - 8ºC. That will hold for next week by the looks of it.

A bright sunny morning here as promised. Temperature at 0855am is 10.3ºC, there's a steady but light breeze. I can see some thin cloud way out to sea, otherwise it's blue sky all over.
Maximum temperature today around 16ºC although it will feel warmer than that in the sun. Tonight will see temperature fall to 8 or 9 near the coat, colder inland.
This same weather situation will be with us for at least the next week,.

Was nice out yesterday and it will be today. Temperature at 0830 was 10.0ºC, now just over an hour later it is 11.2ºC. Sun is out, sky is blue, very little wind. Maximum today 16ºC which will again feel a lot warmer in the direct sun.
Tonight will b e between 7 and 10ºC depending on where you are.
Tomorrow and the rest of the week will have the same calm and settled weather which is typical of this time of year.

It was 8ºC when I surfaced at 730am, now at 1015am it has warmed up to 12.1ºC in fairly bright sunshine. There's blue sky overhead, lots of cloud out to sea. My washing's getting nicely dry on the balcony where the sun is feeling hot. Maximum today could reach 17ºC. Staying dry in a mostly easterly wind.
We shall again have around 7 or 8ºC tonight. Tomorrow will be similar to today but maybe a tad warmer, could reach 19ºc daytime but back to 8ºC at night. The rest of the week should be fine and dry, but the ten day forecast shows rain moving in for the 25th and later.

Another nice sunny day, temperature at 0940am is 12.2ºC, so about the same as yesterday. Not a cloud in the sky, so we may have 19 or even 20ºC this afternoon. Anyone not happy with that?
Cold again tonight, down to 8 or 9 near the sea, a bit colder inland.
The rest of the week and the coming weekend will be just about the same as today. High pressure over the centre of Portugal and Spain is sending nice settled weather towards us.
The forecast is currently showing a high probability of rain next Monday and Tuesday, a wind shift will bring rainy weather up from the south across the sea.
