"What a month October was! Apparently the warmest for 87 years..."

Little surprise there! We had a couple of fairly heavy showers yesterday evening and night, the first noticeable rain since May. This morning has started brightly, the sun is out, temperature at 1020am is 20.7º, it's breezy with quite a lot of cloud. The radar shows a line of showers just starting to cross the coast near Lagos, heading our way. These will be with us from early afternoon. There is a chance that some could bring thunder and lightning with them. Maximum temperature 22 or 23ºC.

Once they have gone, the rest of the day and the weekend will be cloudy and dry, daytime temperatures 22ºC, night-time around 15.
The outlook for next week is cloudy days but most probably dry, daytime temperatures 20 - 22, night-times very cold though at maybe only 10 or 11. Time for the winter duvet to be aired and ready!

It rained quite a bit during the afternoon but cleared up later except for one hefty shower. This morning, the sun is out. Temperature at 0800 is 18ºC, blue sky overhead and some cumulus clouds out to sea. There is a light breeze from the west.

There are quite a lot of small showers on the radar heading in our general direction. Keep an eye out in that direction if you are going out later. We could well get some. Top temperature today 21 or 22ºC.

Tonight is going be pretty cold by local standards, could be as low as 12ºC. The wind will be coming from the north east. Sunday and Monday will be dry and sunny, but only around 21 or 22 again during the day, 12 or 13 at night.

The outlook for next week is for dry days, a mix of sun and cloud, daytimes 20 or 21ºC, night-times 10 or 11, which is about right for early November.

Sunshine, blue sky, steady breeze. Temperature at 0730am was 15.8ºC, now almost an hour later it has warmed up to 16.4. Forecast for today is for a sunny day, but a maximum temperature of no more than 22ºC. Many people will find it very cold tonight, could fall to as low as 12ºC.

The air flow is from the north,, the interior, so the next few days are going to be similar. Dry, sunny days (maybe a bit cloudier towards the end of the week), daytimes 20 or 21ºC, night times 10 - 12ºC and almost no chance of rain.

Cold this morning, only 14.0C at 0730am. Warmer now on a sunny day, temperature at 1135am a very acceptable 19.6ºC. Not a cloud in the sky but there is a bit of a wind.

Forecast for later is 23ºC. The clear sky does mean a cold night and it could be even colder tonight, down to 13ºC. Indoors for me it is 24ºC, nice sun coming through the window.

There's not much change expected for the rest of the week. Dry, sunny days, 20 - 22ºC and it will be nice if you are out of any wind. Night-times will be like November should be, somewhere between 9 and 11ºC. My winter duvet is out from its summer quarters, getting some air before being brought into service tonight.

And another bright and sunny morning, temperature at 0800 is 14.8ºC. There is barely a breeze.

Forecast for today is as yesterday, a dry and sunny day with temperature this afternoon possibly reaching 23ºC.

Tonight it will fall to between 12 and 14. Little if any change is expected for the rest of the week, other than the odd cloud floating around. Enjoy.

Sunny again but colder than yesterday. Temperature at 0810am is 13.8ºC, sun overhead but some high cloud out to sea.  There's the lightest breeze. Forecast is again for a maximum of 23ºC this afternoon and staying dry.

Tonight will be even colder, down to maybe 11ºC and tomorrow, although once again sunny, is not expected to be above 19ºC. Friday about the same.

The outlook for the weekend and early next week is pretty much unchanged from the present. From Wednesday onwards there could be a change in the wind direction, bringing with that a small chance of some rain. Temperataures will however remain about the same.

It's not going to be very warm today and because it is still very dry, much of the region is on maximum alert for fire risk. This is the only region of Portugal still on alert!

Temperature at 0815am is 14.7ºC, so warmer than yesterday but it seems rather windier. Wind is coming from the east and north-east. Almost a cloudless sky, just a few way out on the horizon.

Forecast for today is a cloudy 19ºC. Staying dry. Tonight will be cold again, 12 or 13 in town, could be down to 10 out in the countryside.

Tomorrow will be more or less the same as today, Saturday perhaps a little bit warmer. Sunday and well into next week - no change. There's a hint that there might some rain a week on Saturday.

Another sunny but cold start to the day. Temperature at 0915am is 14.0ºC, not a cloud to be seen and a light breeze from the north-east.

Forecast for today is sun, maximum of 22ºC.

Cold again tonight, down to 10ºC in some spots, warmer in town among the buildings.

The weekend will be very pleasant indeed, sunny and possibly up to 24ºC, well above average for the time of year.

The outlook for next week is basically no change, probably becoming cloudier towards the end of the week, daytime temperatures in the low 20's, very little chance of any rain.

Another bright sunshiny day, temperature at 0855am is a very acceptable 16.9ºC in a light breeze. Today is going to be sunny and warm, temperature could reach 23ºC this afternoon.

Tonight will be dry and clear, temperature down to 13 or 14ºC.

Looks like tomorrow (Sunday) could be even warmer, Monday another very nice day as well, also around 23ºC. Next week, until Friday perhaps, will stay sunny and dry although a little less warm. The forecast shows a chance of some rain on Friday and Saturday next week.

There's a bit of cloud around this morning but a nice day nevertheless. Temperature at 1000am is 17.5ºC. There is barely any wind. Today could be very warm for mid November, forecast says a max of 24ºC this afternoon.

It will be cool again tonight, down to 12ºC in the country, maybe 14 in town.

Little change until Friday, from when there is an increasing chance of rain for several days. There is quite a lot of weather coming our way slowly from the south, so it might be wet but it won't be cold.

It was fairly windy earlier but has calmed down now. Temperature at 0945am is 16.0ºC, there's a build up of cloud on the far southern horizon otherwise clear sky. The wind is light but noticeable coming through the window. Temperature inside is 21!

Another dry and sunny day on the cards, could reach 22 or 23 this afternoon. Cool again tonight, temperature could fall to 10ºC out of town. Tuesday and Wednesday will see a change in the wind direction, the weather will be coming from the south-east. I will be cloudier and a little cooler day and night.

The weather is expected to stay dry until Friday, from Saturday onwards there is a growing chance of showers.

And another bright sunny morning, although it is slightly misty far out to sea. Temperature at 0800 is 14.5ºC, there is just the slightest wind.

Forecast for today is sun and max of 21ºC. It will be another cold-ish night, down to 10ºC in the countryside, 12 or 13 in town.

Wednesday and Thursday are going to be cloudy days and therefore a little cooler. Friday and the weekend won't see much change from that, not very exciting weather at all. Rain is expected this time next week.

Another generally sunny morning so far but skies are not quit so clear as they have been. Temperature at 1040am is 17.5ºC, there is a light breeze.

Today will not be as warm as recently, not more than about 20ºC under an increasingly cloudy sky. Tonight will be down to around 11 or 12ºC.

Tomorrow will also be cloudy and about 20ºC, Friday could be a bit better.

The weekend looks like be very pleasant, daytimes up to 23 or even 24ºC, night-times 11 or 12 and staying dry. That could hold for Monday and Tuesday also. There is a small chance of some rain forecast for the middle of next week.

Another bright and sunny morning! When will it end? Not any time soon it seems.

Temperature at 0815am is 14.8ºC, blue sky, hardly any wind. Forecast is for a dry and warm day, could reach 22ºC this afternoon. Tonight will be as before, about 11ºC in the countryside, 13ºC in town.

No change expected for tomorrow, Saturday could be a little cloudy but still likely to be 22ºC.  Same goes for Sunday and next week perhaps until Thursday, when clouds will be moving in and rain is currently forecast for Friday 24th and Saturday 25th.
