The view from our terrace just now looking towards Albufeira.
Not bad for a rainy day.
The building work going on is another 87 Apartments being built in the Pine Cliffs.
Dead cheap if anybody fancies one Wink

A much nicer day than expected yesterday, here anyway.

Today it's been a bit showery, it's not raining at the moment but the sky is completely covered by low, grey, cloud. Temperature at 1045am is 20.2ºC, there is only the lightest wind.

It looks like most of the rain has passed. It won't be much warmer with all the cloud though. Tonight will be about average for the time of year, down to 16ºC.

Thursday and Friday will also be a bit cloudy at times, but the breaks in the cloud will let the sun through so it could be a little warmer, up to 24 or 25 perhaps. There might be the odd light shower or two.

Further ahead, from the weekend and for next week we will have light winds from the south, warm days ( 22 - 24ºC) with some cloud and little if any chance of any rain.

Cloud virtually gone, except for over the hills to the North, almost clear blue sky along the coast and to the South and lots of warm sunshine. Current temp is 23

Bit of a change came last night, very wet and windy and windy at times especially around 11pm - midnight. Some more of that coming our way this morning.

It's another grey and damp morning, but not cold. Temperature at 0755am is 19.8%, the humidity meter says 82%. Sky is very cloudy and grey, showers are in the wind, which is coming from the north-west. Radar shows small scattered showers heading our way, so there will be rain from time to time, maybe until lunchtime. Should clear up a bit later, staying cloudy though max temperature a proper mid October 23 or 24ºC.

Tonight will be a lot cooler than recently, could be as low as 16ºC.

Tomorrow should be a dry day, cloudy and maybe 25ºC, clearer weather comes for Saturday and Sunday with daytime temperature possibly reaching 27ºC.

It will come as no surprise to readers than September this year has been announced as the driest and hottest since modern records began 87 years ago!

No rain yesterday as it turned out, missed us. Forecast for today is again for patchy showers coming in from the west.  Temperature at 20.3ºC, feels damp. It's dry at the moment but there is a lot of cloud around. Maximum today around 24ºC.

It won't be very warm tonight, 16ºC probably.  The weekend should be dry, but cloudy and a bit warmer during the day.

The outlook for next week is warm, fairly sunny but with some high cloud and dry with daytime temperatures up to 26ºC, around 4ºC above average for the time of year.

That's the last report for a few days as I am off to what looks like being a wet and windy Kent and Sussex later this morning.

Blue sky day today, around 25, with a cool breeze from the north easing around 4 pm. And they`ve just revised their IPMA forecast to go back up to 29 degrees later in the week and fairly similar into November ... beaches very busy again.

Goodness! Have you seen the IPMA forecast? 29, 30 & 31 for next three days!
Way above average and no percent chance of any wet stuff, incredible.

I have just looked at IPMA and forecast is for 28ºC today. Clear skies, a gentle wind from the south to dry my week's washing that is currently spinning around.

Temperature at 0845am is 19.6ºC, it's fairly damp feeling at 62% though.  Almost the whole region is on red alert for fire risk.

Cold tonight, as low as 17ºC but that compares favourably to the grey and drizzly 14ºC days I have just returned from! As Andrew says, 29 or 30ºC is forecast for Friday and Saturday daytimes.

Next week will have slightly cooler nights, but daytime temperatures in the mid to high 20´s with only the slimmest chance of any wet stuff.

It's a touch warmer than at the same time yesterday, 20.6º at 0900. There are a few clouds drifting lazily along in a light breeze. Expecting up to 28ºC today.

It won't be all that warm tonight, although we were sitting outside the Arte Bar at midnight last night, mostly in shorts and shirts. Might fall as low as 16ºC in the early hours.

A hot weekend is on the cards, daytimes up to around 28 or 29ºC.  The outlook for next week is sunny days, 24 - 26ºC in the day 14 - 16 at night and no rain.

Another hot day coming up, we could have 30ºC this afternoon which is about 8ºC above average for the time of year.

Temperature at 0855am is 21.9ºC, the humidity bit says only 35%, so it's a dry wind, which currently is making the leaves flutter a little. There is a some haze out on the horizon, not sure if it's desert dust or cloud.

Tonight will again be pleasant, 16ºC outside of town, warmer among the buildings.

It will be cooler tomorrow and Monday, maybe only 25 or 26. It will stay fairly warm for the rest of the week, 22 or 23, but there is an increasing chance of light rain from Wednesday onwards.

Yesterday was hot! I was at a bowls match over in Almancil and the heat was being felt by several. When I arrived back home after football at around 615pm it was 28ºC inside my place as I had forgotten to draw the curtain blind.

It won't be quite so hot today, but we still have a couple more days of heatwave to come. Temperature at 0935am is 21.5ºC, forecast is for 26ºC. Sky is blue, air almost still.

Tonight will be a nice one, down to 15ºC out of town, a degree or two warmer in town.

A similar day is expected tomorrow but with some cloud coming in. Tuesday will be cooler at maybe only 23ºC and fairly cloudy. There is a good chance of showery spells from Wednesday to Saturday, however temperature will still be around 23ºC daytimes, could fall to 12 or 13 at night though. Not quite time for the winter duvet, but probably time to have it aired and ready.

Another nice sunny day, but definitely not as warm as it has been. Temperature at 1045am is only 21.9ºC.  Blue sky overhead, slightly hazy out to sea. A light breeze is wafting through my windows. Forecast for today is a maximum of 25ºC.

Tonight will feel cold to some, down to 15ºC in some places.

Tomorrow will be a bit cloudy and a bit cooler, Wednesday will see some light showers coming our way and a daytime temperature more in keeping with the season of only 22ºC.

A very similar start to the day as yesterday. Blue sky overhead but murky out to sea. Temperature at 0825 is 20.7 c. Expecting 23 or 24 later with clouds building up later. It is quite humid also with what little wind there is from across the sea.

Cold tonight again 14 or 15 out of town.

Fair chance of showers tomorrow.

Unable to log in earlier, hence delay. Anyway, it's been a cloudy morning but no rain. It's also quite windy. Temperature at 1215pm is 22.3ºC, so it's not cold by any means. There are some showers on the radar out to the west and a long way south, but it looks like they won't be around here until tonight or maybe early tomorrow.

Tonight will be a reasonable 16ºC or so, tomorrow the showers are expected with a maximum temperature of no more than 22ºC.

Friday and Saturday are also going to be rainy days, daytime temperatures down to 21 or 22, which is about normal for the time of year. Out in the wilds, it could be as cold as 11 or 12 at night.

The rain will move away over Saturday. Next week is expected to be cloudy but dry, temperatures around the seasonal norm of 20ºC daytimes, 11ºC at night.

A very red sky earlier this morning, shepherd's warning and all that. it's cloudy but not raining at the moment. The radar shows a few small showers on the way and a larger area of rain behind them. Coming from the soutth-west, so look out that way.

Temperature at 0815am is 19.2ºC, so it's not cold. There is very little wind. Maximum temperature today no more than 22 or 23C.

Tonight won't be cold, but it will probably be wet.

Tomorrow, watch out for thundery showers, Saturday should be a nicer day but still with some showers, in the morning particularly. Temperatures will stay in the 20 - 22 range in the daytimes, down to 14 - 16 at night.  A drier but cooler week is coming from Sunday.
