Another nice sunny day but not quite as hot as yesterday. Temperature at 1140am is 25.1ºC, there's very little wind although like yesterday it will be windier come later afternoon. Maximum temperature today no more than 28 or 29.

A pleasant night again in prospect, temperature 19 or 20ºC near the coast, a bit warmer inland.  Still no real changes expected in the short term, daytimes will be 30ºC ish, night-times 20-ish. And no rain of course. Long range forecast shows the heatwave continuing until the 14th.

Hotter than yesterday, 26.8ºC at 11am, a bit of breeze that is getting my washing nice and dry. Top temperature today could reach 31ºC, well above average for early September.

Clear sky, cold night, could be as low as 21ºC.

The wind direction is going to shift to come more from across the sea than the north, so there might not be quite as much dust in the air. No noticeable change in the weather for the next couple of days though, except for some high clouds.

The longer range forecast still has daytime around 30ºC and night times 20ºC until the end of next week. I wonder if the weather gods are lining up one of those major breaks in the weather when we get colossal storms one day?

Tom, BBC Weather is showing 14 or 15 degree nightime temperatures (for Faro) from tomorrow until Tuesday.

Are they wrong, is Faro that different to Albufeira and should I bring my thermals??

Another hot day but a little cloudy. Temperature at 12.20 is 27.9 C. It is fairly windy at the moment. Max today 29. A warm night expected as it was last night, at 6am it was 23 here. Little change expected for the next few days.

IPMA reckons on 17 - 19 at night in Albufeira come the weekend but I find it is always a little warmer around town than their numbers.

Slightly misty this morning a light wind temperature at 0825am is 23.9C.
Forecast is for a slightly steamy 33 later. Tonight could be cooler than of late as low as 20.
Weekend should be ok cloudy perhaps but still up around 30. Nights though starting to get cold, down to 18 or 19.

Outlook for the next settled in same pattern.

Cold and windy this morning. Temperature at 0940am is only 22.4ºC, the coldest it has been for some time. It has been quite windy through the night and is still fairly blowy now. We have blue sky though, with a very few very high clouds.

It's going to be windy all day with a maximum temperature of no more than 28 or 29ºC this afternoon. Tonight could see temperature fall as low as 16ºC in some places, 18 or 19 nearer the coast.

A sunny day and 28ºC is expected tomorrow, same for Monday but warmer all around with the wind still from the north.

Another week or 10 days of dry, sunny, weather is on the cards. Daytime temperatures 29 - 31, night-times 18 - 20.

A fresh feeling this morning, temperature at 0855am is only 19.6ºC. Sunny and blue sky, there is s steady breeze coming through the windows. Like yesterday, it could be a bit windy all day. It will be a nice day though. Top temperature only 25ºC, coldest day for a long time, but that is about average for the time of year.

Another cold night is expected, temperatures down to between 17 and 19.

But the wind shifts around tomorrow and will be coming more from the south and west, much warmer weather is forecast, up to 33ºc daytime, 20 - 22ºC at night. Looks like that will hold for the rest of this week, no need for the winter duvet and bedsocks just yet.

It's a nice morning, a bit warmer than yesterday, still a bit breezy. Temperature at 1005am is 23.7ºC. There are a few streaks of very high cloud, otherwise blue sky. It's a dry wind from the north at the moment.

Forecast today is for 32ºC, seems a bit high to me! Temperature tonight will fall to around 20 or 21ºC.

Looks like tomorrow will also be pretty hot, 33ºC on the official forecast which is around 6ºC higher than the average for this time of year. Then Wednesday will be a little cooler.

The ten day forecast has daytime temperatures still in at least the high 20's and no prospect of any rain. Nights will be getting cold though, as low as 15ºC expected later this week.

The day has dawned bright and clear, temperature at 0750am is 21.4ºC, there is barely a breeze. Forecast for today is 34ºC in these parts, cooler towards the west. That is extremely hot for the middle of September.

Temperature tonight will again fall to around 20ºC.

The next couple of days won't be quite as hot, only 29 or 30 under a thin veil of high cloud. Cooler daytime temperatures, but still in the mid to high 20´s, will follow but still little if any chance of any rain. The clear skies mean night-times could be down to 14 or 15.

Sounds perfect. Arriving tonight so that'll do fine.
I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

At 6.15pm yesterday evening my thermometer said 30.1ºC. Certainly was a hot day.

Today is not quite so hot, temperature at 1030am is 25.1ºC, blue sky, gentle breeze from the north (dry air therefore) to get the washing dry.

Forecast for later is 30ºC maximum.  It will stay warm tonight here, no lower than 21 or 22.
Tomorrow could be a little cloudy, but still around 30ºC, Friday a little cooler at 27ºC and night-times will not be so warm as they have been.

Little change is expected in the next ten days.

It's quite windy this morning, a nice fresh wind at that. Temperature at 0920am is 22.6ºC, there are a few streaks of cloud high in the sky otherwise clear.

It will be fairly windy all day, but not cold with top temperature around 30 or 31ºC. A good day to put out your washing. Mine is.

Tonight will be pleasant again, no lower than about 20ºC.

A slight shift in the wind direction means tomorrow and Saturday will be slightly cooler, perhaps only 27ºC daytime and 15 or 16 at night.

Unsurprisingly, with the wind, the inland areas are at maximum level for fire risk.

No real change is forecast for the next ten days.

It's a breezy and rather sneezy morning here. Lots of dust and plant spores in the air. Temperature at 1055am is 21.5ºC, so cooler than yesterday as expected. Sky is blue, fairly windy, in fact there is a yellow alert for the region for the wind.

Max temperature today will only be about 28ºC. Tonight could be as low as 16ºC, time to get the duvet out from the cupboard.

The weekend will be a bit cloudy with daytime temperature the mid September average of around 26ºC.  Night, 15 or 16ºC. The region is on maximum alert for fire risk, because of the wind and tinder-dry grass and trees.

Little or no change in the ten day forecast.

Another breezy morning, blue sky, temperature at 1030am is 20.2ºC. Forecast today is for a maximum of no more than 25ºC, which is about average for the time of year.

The bowlers taking part in the charity marathon tonight might need the winter woollies. Overnight temperature could fall to as low as 14ºC in some parts, including the windswept acres of Balaia.

Tomorrow will about the same as today, a bit cloudier perhaps. Monday will be a bit warmer, the wind will be again from the hotter inland areas.

The ten day forecast has several more days like that for us.
