Update 1110 - misread that one and it is now raining hard here in Albufeira and it's those big, icy, raindrops that come from a long way up. I was going to go shopping but not now!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A very damp and grey morning here, very windy as well. It has just stopped raining, only a brief shower. Temperature at 0910am is 13.4C.

It will stay cloudy and windy today, top temperature no more than 16C and there will be little if any sun today. But it does loo like most of the rain has paased by, there are a few scattered showers around but as yesterday we coiuld miss them here.

It will be around 12 or 13C tonight, maybe one or two showers still. Tomorrow should be a bit less cloudy, a bit warmer, but still a chance of a shower or two. Much better weather for the  weekend, 22C and sunny is the forecast. There will be a few more nice daya after that, but more rain is predicted for Wednesday and Thursday next week.

Stopped raining around 1230 yesterday, started again later and on and off for much of the day. This morning is another damp and grey one, it's been raining but isn't at the moment. Temperature at 0845am is 13.8C, so about the same as yesterday. Not as windy.

There are a few showers still around but the afternoon should see an improvement, with less cloud and a few blue bits even.   If the sun comes out, we might have 19ºC. Tonight won't be very warm again, 11ºC and feeling damp.

A much better weekend is forecast, mostly blue sky with 22 or 23 daytime, 12 at night.

That will hold until Tuesday, then after that it's looking decidedly wet again for a few days.

Yesterday turned out to be a very nice day, plenty of sun although it wasa bit windy at times. Today looks like being even better, Blue sky, slight wind, temperature at 0905 is 15.6C, so a couple of degrees warmer than yesterday. Forecast for today is a maximum 23ºC, very acceptable for mid-March, light wind, little if any cloud.

Clear sky = cold night as you know, around 13C tonight.

Same tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday a touch cooler perhaps with some more cloud.

Wednesday to Sunday, showers, cloudy, cooler.

Another nice sunny day, 23ºC forecast.  Temperature at 11am is 19ºC, there are a few high clouds and there is a gentle breeze.

Cold tonight though, relatively speaking, down to 12 or 13C.

Sunny and warm again tomorrow, 22C is forecast. Tuesday will be a bit cooler and with dark clouds building up. That is a prelude to the several days of rather showery weather that is going to sweep across the region from Wednesday onwards.

Quite cloudy this morning, mostly high and thin but there is one grey cloud scudding past on the wind. Thermometer says 16ºC but doesn't feel like it. It's going to stay cloudy today, top temperature 19C if we are lucky. There are a few small showers to the north and west of here, we shouldn't get any of them today.

Tonight will be colder than it has been lately, down to 10C.

Tomorrow is going to be very cool and cloudy, a chance of some showers and top temperature 15C. Looks like the rest of the week is going to be cloudy with showers and not all that warm at 14 or 15C. Especially not all that warm at night, with the current forecast showing single digit night-time temperatures from tomorrrow night onwards.

Cloudy and grey this morning, dry at the moment but at band of rain is slowly heading our way from the north-west. Temperature at 0745am is 12.8C. There is just a little bit of a wind.
Keep an eye on the radar if you are going out - http://www.ipma.pt/pt/otempo/obs.remote/index.jsp - the rain is coming but probably won't be here until lunchtime - ish.

Top temperature today no more than 17C. Tonight is expected to be cold for the time of year, local forecast down to 7C. Thursday and Friday are likely to be pretty cool, 14 or 15C daytime, 6 or 7 at night and with a few showers thrown in.  And it seems that's going to be the situation until next Monday.

Cubsur not about today.

Sorry, don't know what he temperature is but it was cool all day. There were clouds overhead all day and the odd time when they cleared and the sun got through it was quite pleasant. Although the brisk breeze was cold.

There were a few drops of rain but not the heavy showers that were predicted.

Tonight it is cold cold cold. Coats and jumpers required.

Hopefully Cubsur back tomorrow.

"Cubsur not about today. "

I was but the forum wasn't this morning then my PC crashed.

Anyway early doors it was 8.5C, the coldest it has been for a long time and there was a lot of rain in the hours before daw n. Since then it's been mostly cloudy and windy, although it is quite bright now and the sun is out to the south, but a big black cloud is passing over behind me and the radar does show rain over Ferreiras . Temperature at 1525hrs is 13.8C

It's gonna be nippy tonight, forecast says down to 5 or 6C!

Wet, windy and not very warm will do as a summary. Temperature at 1045am is 13,9C, there is a lot of heavy cloud around, it's been raining on and off since before dawn. It was very windy during the night, a bit calmer now.

There are more showers to come, but the worst looks to be over and they shouldn't last very long. Temperature today no more than 16C.

It won't be quite as cold tonight as it has been lately, 9 or 10C. Tomorrow will again be wet and windy, maybe a little warmer though. Monday should be a dry day, a bit more sun will bring the temperature up to 18C, which is about average for this time of year.

From Tuesday onwards it should stay dry, there will be quite a bit of cloud with daytime temperatures up to around 20 or 21c.

Don't forget that clocks go FORWARD tonight. Spring is sprung.

Update 1400hrs - blowing literally a gale, bursts of heavy rain being driven in by the wind, temperature  14.1C

Very windy and lots of cloud. It's been raining through the night, not doing so now but more is to come. Temperature at 0915am is 14C, so a bit warmer than yesterday although the wind is not helping.

The wind is coming from the south, bringing short-lived, scattered showers for later. Some may be quite heavy for a time. Coudl reach 17C between showers if the sun comes out.

Tonight will be reasonably quiet, 11 or 12C.  Tomorrow should be a better day, 18C and probably no rain. Tuesday even better and leading into a cloudy but warmer few days.

That's a first, what we left in the UK yesterday and this morning is far better, weather wise, than what we have here!
It's blowing an absolute hoolie and as Tom say's, currently thrashing down!
Good job we've got the crew in the pub with the footie to look forward to and then, if this weather continues, we'll start building the Ark!
