There was some light rain yesterday morning as predicted, everything rather damp so I had to iron my washing dry last night.

This morning there is a layer of grey cloud overhead, much brighter out to sea. Temperature at 0745am is 17.3º, wind is very light. It will be much windier later and again there is a chance of a shower or two. Maximum temperature 22º.

Tonight and tomorrow are going to be pretty windy, with rain likely through the night and much of tomorrow as a cold front sweeps cross the region. Friday should be fairly nice, a bit cloudy and a small chance of rain, but then more weather is coming along for Saturday, windy and raining especially during the afternoon and evening.

It is fairly grey this morning, high thin cloud though. The air is still. Temperature at 0730 is 16.2º. There is a chance of a light shower or two, the sun should break through the clouds later. Maximum temperature though only around 18º. Tonight will be calm and cold, could be down to 13º up in the hills. It will be windier tomorrow, especially during the afternoon. Should stay dry and a bit warmer at 22º perhaps. Thursday could be rather windy, the west coast will have some very big waves for the surfers. It could be raining also. Nice days expected Friday and Saturday, maybe the odd shower or two around.

It looks nice enough at the moment, 08.10am, some cloud out to sea, mostly blue sky, very little wind and temperature 17.9º. There is a band of rain moving our way that could bring showers around lunchtime and possibly longer periods of rain during the afternoon. It will also be windier, maximum temperature 21º.

Tonight will be fairly calm and not too cold at 17 or 18º. Tomorrow though will likely be wet and windy, all day perhaps and well into the night. Cooler as well, no more than 19º.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be cloudy with sunny spells and should be dry. More rain from Thursday.

Sun is coming up on a grey morning. Plenty of cloud, little wind. Temperature at 0755am is 17.9º.

It will be windier later, should stay dry with the sun breaking through the clouds from time to time. Maximum temperature 21 or 22º. A dry and calm night ahead, temperture down to 15 or 16º away from the coast, a bit warmer by the sea. A band of light rain is crossing the region tomorrow morning, could bring showers. Stil warm though, Sunday loks like being a rainy day, cooler at around 19º. The rain could last into the night. Next week, cloudy, maybe a few showers.

Thick fog this morning. Temperature at 0800 is 19.1º, no wind to speak of. The fog will soon lift, but a few light showers may follow this morning, followed by a cloudy afternoon. It will be a fairly warm day with the wind from the south, temperature could reach 22º. Tonight will fairly warm again, but feeling damp. A warm but showery day is expected tomorrow.

Friday and the weekend could be fairly unsettled, with showers, some perhaps heavy and thundery.

Looks like we shall have a cool but dry day today, until teatime at least. Blue sky overhead, lots of cloud out to sea. Temperaure at 0755am is 15.5º, wind is light. A band of rainy and windy weather is on its way from the south-west, expected around 1700hrs. Maximum temperature today 19º. It won't be too  cold tonight, with the wind from that direction.

Tomorrow should be quite a bit warmer, 223º, light wind and only a small chance of a shower or two. Not too bad either on Friday or Saturday, warm and a few spots of rain maybe, then Sunday rather wet again.

Those here will have noticed that it was rather wet yesterday! Faro airport was the wettest place in Portugal, with 83mm of rain - 3.25 inches. The drain outside my back door only just about coped with the deluge, water was lapping at the door.

There was a little bit of rain before dawn, more is coming. It is very grey out to sea. Temperature at 0845 is 16.3º. wind is light. Rain is expected this afternoon, maximum temperature 19 or 20º.  It will be a bit warmer over the next few days but rain is likely at any time.

Raining steadily from a cold grey sky. Temperature at 0830am, is 16.1º, coldest it's been in the morning for a long time. It's expected to be raining all day until mid afternoon and also to be very windy. Maximum temperature 19º.

More rain but less wind is forecast for tomorrow. Next week will be a mix of sunshine and showers, but a little warmer at around 20 - 22º daytime, 14 - 16º at night.

Cool and cloudy at dawn, rain expected this afternoon. Temperature at 0725am is 17.2º, wind is very light. Some showers are heading our way from the south, expected around 1300hrs for the afternoon. It won't be very warm today, 18º at best. It will be fairly windy tonight, bringing more rain through the night, which could be with us all day on Sunday. Very windy Sunday afternoon and evening, with heavy rain. It might be a little warmer than today, if that matters!

Fun day Monday, with amber warnings for high winds, heavy and possibly thundery showers and rough sea from mid morning until early evening. The rest of the week ought to be less uncivil, but still with a fair chance of showers. Daytime temperatures around 20º, night-time 12 to 14º which has been about the average for this time of year.

Very windy this morning, grey skies, tempeature at 0750am is 21.1º. It's not actually raining at the moment. Orange warnings are out for high winds and possible heavy rain during today, especially this afternoon. Maximum temperature 23º. The wind will lessen this evening, but a change in direction to come more from the north is going to bring cooler weather from tomorrow, particularly at night. Tomorrow should be a dry day, but then more rainy days are to come from Saturday.

There were a few more showers later yesterday. This morning it's fairly dark and damp. Temperature at 0745 is 20.1º, there is a big black cloud out to sea. The wind is fairly light now, but it will a lot windier later. The official forecast says no rain until late afternoon, maximum temperature 23º. It will be warm again tonight, no lower than about 20º but it could be raining at any time.

There are all sorts of weather warnings out for tomorrow, especially for the western coastal region of the Algarve. Strong winds, heavy rain and high seas are expected as a deep depression arrives off the coast. The nights following will be much colder than recently.
