Ford Garage or recommended garage?

   Hi, we're coming over tomorrow for a holiday, and our car (Ford Focus Estate) has started playing up (at around 80kmh its as if someone keeps touching the brake pedal every now and then) and black smoke is coming out of the exhaust on starting.
We are staying in Pera, though understand that we will probably have to come into Albufeira to get it fixed.

Does anyone have any recommedations of a good garage for repairs, or a Ford Garage?

 Also, I have just bought a roofbox and the rails for our Ford Focus (the box of rails lists the cars they fit).

Anyway, when taking the plastic piece off of the roof rail on the car (Ford Focus Estate 2005), it seems there is a piece missing underneath, for the roof rack fittings to attach to.

Does anyone know what the name of this piece would be called, and if they are readily available?

	Hi Carmen I use a garage in Albufeira called Auto Latinhas tel 910185724. They have done a few jobs for me on both Ford Fiesta & Fiat Punto ,prices are good and staff friendly (and speak English) They are off Vale Pedras road between bus station and top of Montechoro Hope they can help Richard

	There is a Ford main dealer in Faro, right on the turn off for the airport, you can't miss it. We use an independent garage on the road between Pateo and Guia, so a lot closer for you, and are quite happy to recommend them. Speak to Jose, PM me if you want his number or if Algarveaddick see's this he'll be happy to post the name and address of the garage I'm sure, apologies I don't have his/their card here in UK.
