Hi

I am looking for a decent cleaner.  One with initiative who takes pride in their work.

By this I mean able to report to me the toilet seat has broken, or the door doesn't lock.  Check and replace the lightbulbs when they blow (supplied), move furniture to clean behind it, clean under the bed, arrange the towels and linen neatly, clean the kitchen tiles so they sparkle, buy new stock and charge me if stocks run out, replace filthy mop heads, etc.  Take everything out of the fridge from the last people and bin it.  Not leave socks in the drawers.

Someone who takes pride in their work to make a lovely apartment look very nice for people who have possibly saved all year for their holiday and want it to be perfect.

2 bed apartment and a 1 bed apartment in the old town, Albufeira.

Must speak fluent English so nothing is lost in translation.

And I don't want someone who has lots of properties, charges me for hours,  flies round in a third of the time and leaves me with unhappy clients and tells me no-one has ever complained about them before.

Any recommendations?

Hi Wendy,

I have the ideal people for you, have been with me for 10 years, however I now have sold my apartment so they can take extra work, PM me for their details, you will not be disappointed,

Thanks for the PM's.
Just to clarify, I don't need a keyholder, handyman, meet and greet or anything along those lines.
Just a good, honest, effective cleaner.
Thanks for the recommendations so far :-)
(If you want a handyman who does anything and everything, as and when, I have a great recommendation.)

Hi Norm

My last cleaner was through a recommendation on here and she turned out to be very lazy/incompetent with a bad attitude (I bet you don't move the sofa when you clean she said to me), oh and nicked the linen - three for the price of one, so that was really disappointing.  I'm trying someone recommended again this summer.  Fingers crossed.
