Looks like you got out of Portugal at the right time Tom - they appear to be getting "our" weather for the rest of this week
I hate how peopleï compare Frank Zappa to God. I mean, he's cool and great and nice and everything, but he's no Zappa.

Certainly looks like it, around Hampshire certainly. Yesterday afternoon peaked at 23C but it was windy up there on the hill. The stadium is up on a hill, down below it was feeling very warm.

Today has started brighter than yesterday, much less low cloud and fog but only 13C.  Forecast for today is for sunshine and 23C but turning cloudy later. Expecting rain from tomorrow evening through until Friday afternoon.

John O'Groats yesterday was very nice, dry, sunny and bright, Invergorden this morning is a bit damp and misty, nice view of the Black Isle, might amble up to Cromarty, for old times sake in a bit.

At the cricket near Southampton, where the sun is beating down from an almost cloudless sky. Temp. 20C. But there is a cool stiff breeze up here, so some shelter needed!

We returned from Albufeira last Wednesday and except for Saturday, the weather has been poor ever since.

It's been like this since the beginning of the week & the BBC weather forecast doesn't show any sunshine for us for the next 10 days. This is the view out of the window just now...

Yesterday turned out to be quite cloudy all day except for  couple of hours around lunchtime. It was not so windy and quite humid.

This morning in Southampton it is fairly cloudy, high cloud that's blocking the sun. It's still rather humid and damp feeling. Expecting 22C today but only rare sunny bits. Rain coming in tonight.

Yesterday's storm lasted for about and hour and a half and they got the cricket under way at 1pm.

Today is rather grey and overcast, I can hear rumbles of thunder in the distance. It's been a very close night, not below 16C and today is expected to be mainly cloudy, temperature 20C and maybe a bit more if the sun comes out. There are thundery showers around. In fact as I write the rumbles are getting louder. The radar shows a storm over the New Forest, to the south-west of where I am.

Moved over to Tonbridge yesterday, spending the weekend here, and it was blue sky all the way once leaving Hampshire!

Yesterday afternoon and early evening was positively hot.

This morning though it is very misty and damp. It doesn't look like we shall see much sun today but it will still be reasonably warm at around 20C.

It was a very grey day yesterday, no sun at all and a thick mist at times.

This morning looks better, some blue bits but noticeably colder than of late.

Forecast is for sunny periods, some cloud and 18C.
