Nearly three weeks on and although all sorts of bits of kit are now on site, not a stroke of work being done. This was 1015am this morning.

Well, that's a piling rig, so they're obviously intending to pile and so stabilise the banking and presumably reinstate as was.
If I owned any of that property sitting atop that bank, I'd be mightily relieved to see some piles going in, I'm amazed it's been left this long, I bet insurance premiums in the interim were affected!

Having viewed the site today, I'll swear nothing has moved one millimetre since the pic you posted on 21st March, apart from the sun that is!
I also think the temporary arrangement of using the other dual track as two way is very dangerous, one yellow line in the middle of the road offers no protection to anyone who knows that road as dual track misunderstanding what the intention is, and there is only one simple sign, very understated, and dangerous. Watch this space. I see the opening across the carriageway further down, by the entrance to Luau, has now been closed off, not before time, an accident black spot.

re Luau That only happened 2 weeks ago, in between going to and returning from a meal at Pasta Prima one evening, not helped by a sign mounted on it by someone with a direction arrow to somewhere!!! But I agree a very bad junction |

I agree - the kit hasn't moved. In England it would all have been nicked by now.
I can only marvel at the organisational skills required to set up a construction site, get everything in place then abandon all work for a month. |

Compare and contrast with the photo taken a month ago. What mentality is it that sets up a construction site, puts tens of thousands of Euro worth of kit in place and then walks away, leaving it there behind the flimsiest of fences?
