Well as I don't drive I cannot easily get to these places, so the temptations of handbags and perfumes will remain out of reach.

But I want to see the elephants Cry

I like the shops in Algarve Shopping, as opposed to most other malls around the world at least it's not all the familiar brands from UK, bit pricey though.

Having said that I do look forward to "Iceland Overseas" on our next visit.

I must admit, if I was forced to go shopping but had the choice where to go it would have to be Algarve shopping. I love the open air aspect all the palm trees and shopping under blue skies. When you get fed up you can find a cafe and sit in the sunshine and have a cold beer or whatever takes your fancy ! The fresh fish counter in Contiente has to be seen to be believed ! A lot better than the Trafford or Metro centre's in my opinion.

Funnily enough John I love Algarve shopping too but cannot stand the Metro Centre!! It's the atmosphere in Algarve shopping everyone is calm and relatively happy. I honestly believe it is the sunshine that makes the difference to people!

The grass is always greener guys... I assure you that you (especially you Av..Big%20smile) would be tearing your hair out for a Marks n Sparks within a month if you lived here...Smile. Imagine how long it would be before you got fed up of the same shops selling the same stuff!

The developer who can raise €100,000,000 to build yet another shopping centre should perhaps let the government into the secret of how to raise cash to resolve the national debt crisis.

That would however leave another 8 billion to find.
